Even in those apartments where repairs have recently been carried out, it is very rare to find perfectly designed corners. And any, even the slightest distortion leads to the fact that the wallpaper is inflated, bursting or going to folds. Sealing of internal corners

For this, on one of the walls we glue the panel so that it overlaps the adjacent wall by 2-3 centimeters. It is necessary to make sure that the wallpaper is strictly vertical. To ensure the correct location on the wall, with a plumb line we draw a line along which we glue the panel.

If the angle is very uneven, it may be necessary to cut the overlapping part on the adjacent wall. Sometimes this is the only way to make the wallpaper fit to the corner. If the paper is thick, then it is better to use a special glue that carefully rub the edge of the cloth, then press it with a special sponge.

We place the panel, adhering to the drawn sign. That part of the wallpaper, which goes to the adjacent wall, is smeared with glue for joints and carefully smoothed.

Now, armed with a building level or ruler (preferably metal) and a sharp knife, cut off both stock immediately in the corner. The upper cut piece is removed easily, and the one that was under the cloth, we take out, bending the edge. We again glue it with glue and carefully press it. Sealing of external corners

If the outer corner is perfectly flat, then it is very easy to paste it: you just need to wrap the panel, carefully making sure that there is no air left. If the angles are uneven, then the following sequence of actions will be used.

We paste the wall of wallpaper on one of the walls, placing it so that the edge protrudes by 2-3 cm, smeared it with glue for joints, wraps, smooths, making sure that it lay down smoothly. If this fails, then you can cut in several places. The wrapped edge is cut with a sharp knife, leaving a very thin edge around the corner, which will not be visible through the top layer of the wallpaper.

The second cloth must be placed so that its edge is 5-7 mm protruding around the corner. We glue the second strip of wallpaper, wrapped in a lap. It can also be treated with glue for joints and carefully pressed. For this purpose, you can use a mixture of wallpaper and PVA.
