First, we apply to the wall a stencil drawing of one color of the paint, a lighter one, and after it is dry we put the same pattern next to the previous one, but in the other direction, or slightly on it, and paint over with a darker color. In this way, you can make a small composition or build a curb along the entire wall.

Finally, using stencils for painting walls, you can successfully simulate wallpaper and create original color combinations and weave patterns. The simplest version of this coloring is the placement of the ornament in a checkerboard pattern using different shades of paint. More complex ways - this is the designer's fantasy painting of the wall with the help of figured rollers, brushes, decorative paint, and then applying over it stencil patterns.

How to make a stencil yourself? First you need to select the right drawing, then print it on thick paper, cardboard or film with an adhesive layer. To strengthen the stencil before you cut it, cardboard or paper can be pasted with a self-adhesive film or tape.
