Socionics is a psychological teaching based on Jung's typology and affirming that all people belong to one of the sixteen mental types, depending on the way of thinking, attitude and relationships with other people.

One such type is Don Quixote. Socionics gives him the definition of "Intuitive-logical extravert", or "Seeker". If such a person has an enemy, he will lead an honest and open struggle with him and never depart from his moral principles, like the real Don Quixote. Socionics believes that this person does not make mutual commitments between himself and people close to him.

"Don Quixote" constantly needs emotional shocks and pumping. He is quickly bored with monotony, and he begins to look for new sensations and activities - hence the frequent changes in the field of activity.

"Don Quixote" have strong leadership and organizational qualities, are able to take responsibility in a critical situation, when their thinking becomes aggravated. Conversely, when everything is quiet, they prefer to leave leadership for someone else, because they do not like competition and prefer to avoid it. Besides, without inspiration they will never work.

People who are of the Don Quixote type are very proud and even ambitious, so they will never ask others for help. As a rule, they do not like disagreements, they want to maintain peace-loving and tolerant relations with all. They believe that everyone has the right to an individual life position, but they are ready to defend their own zealously.

In dealing with people, they do not know how to demonstrate neutrality, openly show both positive and negative emotions in relation to the interlocutor. This feature often leads to the fact that they are considered too rude.
