TV presenter Sergei Suponev: creative life and unexpected death

To many spectators Sergey Suponev was remembered as a good-natured and cheerful TV presenter. He was adored by children and respected by adults. A successful career, recognition of colleagues, true love and family hearth - all this was in Sergei Suponev. He himself considered himself to be a happy person and was going to rejoice the Russians for many years with his television projects. But fate decreed otherwise. In 2001 he was no more. Sergey Suponev: biography

The creator and presenter of children's programs ORT was born on January 28, 1963 in a small village Khotkovo (Moscow region). After graduating from a local school, he decided to enter the journalism department at Moscow State University. He managed to carry out his plans. But the training in the main university of the country lasted only 1 year. In 1981, Sergei Suponev was drafted into the army. Returning to the "citizen" in 1983, our hero still graduated from the university and received the profession of a journalist.

TV career

Work on Russian TV Sergei Suponev began even before the army - in 1980. Having given his duty to the Motherland, he again got on television. In 1983, Sergei was offered the position of administrator on one of the central channels. His duties included the processing of programs dedicated to public holidays. In the period from 1984 to 1986, Suponev managed to work as an administrator in the propaganda department. The next 2 years, Sergei was preparing the stories for the popular in those days transfer "Up to 16 and older."

To try myself as the leader of our today's hero happened only in 1988. The program was called "Marathon 15". Soon Sergey Suponev woke up famous. He began to offer various projects. Vlad Listyev himself noticed and highly appreciated his talent. It was thanks to him that the children's program "Star Time" found such a sparkling and objective leader.

Sergei was not going to stop there. Soon he created a completely new, unparalleled children's program called "The Call of the Jungle." This idea, embodied by him in reality, made Suponeva the owner of the TEFI prize. "Call of the Jungle" is not the only program for children, which our hero created. In his creative box are different in the genres of programs: "Disney Club", "King of the Hill", "The Seventh Sense" and others.

Personal life

When communicating with the opposite sex, Sergei used his natural charm. He was a very attractive man and an interesting interlocutor. In an official marriage Suponev was twice. According to him, in both cases he married for love. The first wife gave him Cyril's son. In the second marriage, a beautiful daughter appeared. Sergei loved both his children equally, tried to pamper them and give them more time.

The death of Sergei Suponev

The famous TV presenter was engaged in sports and liked to sweep with a breeze. It was this fascination that played a cruel joke on him. Although more than 10 years have passed since that terrible event, not everyone knows today how Sergey Suponev died.

On December 8, 2001, he went to the Tver Region to ride a snowmobile. No signs of trouble. The body of a famous journalist was discovered late in the evening by local residents. There was no doubt that there was an accident . The investigation concluded that Sergei simply did not manage the administration. His snowmobile moved along the ice of a frozen river. The speed was very high. Turn to the right side of Sergei failed. The snowmobile skidded, and he crashed into the tree at full speed. The body of the journalist was found a few meters from the trunk. Most likely, the snowmobile hit the tree with such force that Suponeva was simply thrown out of the seat. He was seriously injured, not compatible with life. Arriving at the scene of the incident, police officers found two dead bodies - Sergei and his young companion.

The news of the death of a popular TV host caused a real shock to his fans and colleagues. But the most difficult was Suponev's relatives. They did not want to accept and realize what had happened. The famous singer and TV presenter Lena Perova, who was Sergey's half-sister, fell into a deep depression. Over the years, the brother was her support and support, but now he is not in the world. The tragedy that took place could not but be reflected in the children of Suponev. At that time, his daughter was not even a year old. But the son-teenager Cyril strongly experienced the loss of his own father. No one even imagined how this accident would affect the future fate of the boy.

Another tragedy

In September 2013, Russian print media reported terrible news - the son of Sergei Suponev was killed. Did he, like his father, become a victim of an accident? Later it turned out that no. Cyril committed suicide. Everything happened in a Moscow apartment on the Autumn Boulevard. While mom went to the nearest store, Cyril took a strong rope and hanged himself. When the woman returned, it was already late. The doctors arrived at the address stated the death of the guy.

Remembering what Cyril was, many of his acquaintances and friends pointed out that after the death of his father, the guy became withdrawn and gloomy. He smiled in rare cases and did not share his emotional experiences with anyone. But Kirill was expected to have a great future. He managed to do and successfully finish his studies at MGIMO, get a journalist's profession. Kirill Suponev was fond of music and even was a drummer in one fashionable metropolitan group. Father could be proud of him. But soon everything went wrong. Lack of self-realization and support of friends, constant failures in casting and unhealed psychological trauma - all this led to a sad outcome. Cyril could not stand the tests that had fallen on him and decided to give up his life.

Sergey Suponev is an interesting and fully developed personality. He did a lot for the development of Russian television. The children's programs created by him are a good example of how to work and interact with children. On the programs "The Call of the Jungle" and "Star Hour" has grown more than one generation.
