The place of her burial became a place of pilgrimage, in connection with which a ritual appeared to wrap Rachel's tomb with a red thread, which as a result acquired the properties of an amulet, helped people who carried it in many difficult situations and in finding their place in life.

The thread was to be tied to seven knots, which is also part of the tradition, closing its owner from the evil eye, evil spells and helping him on the journey of life. Why is the thread red? Kabbalah says that red color allows you to distract the detective who is looking at you and dispel the negative impact. The thread is threaded only on the left hand, since the left side of the body attracts energy, and the thread is thus a kind of filter that cuts off the negative effect. Unfortunately, modern society is very susceptible to the influence of authorities: political leaders, pop stars and cinema.
