The word "topiary", originally used to denote the art of figured pruning of the crown of trees, is more often used today as the name of original souvenirs, which are given for happiness with wishes of financial well-being. This material easily turns into tender flower petals, so it is often used to create interior decor objects.

A simple topiary from foamiran with your own hands: a master class (which is required)

As a first experiment in the production of such a souvenir, you can offer a fairly simple option, without the use of thermal processing of petals, which will need:

• Polyfoam base. For example, you can use a small ball. Suitable and other figures from the same material (star, heart, etc.).
• Foamiran of several colors.
• Pins with bead-beads or tailors with a "pearl" head.
• Puncher in flower form, preferably larger (more than 1.5 cm).
• Beads, sequins and / or beads for making flower cores.
• Acrylic paint for the trunk.

• Pebbles and gypsum.

To make a topiary from foamiran (the master class is presented below), you first need to do flowers. They need to be produced in large quantities using a punch. As a result, the same number of colors should be obtained, for example, light green and pale yellow. Followed by:

• Put a heart pail on the pin;
• Pierce it with the point of the centers of yellow and green flowers;
• To insert a pin into the foam;
• Continue to collect the flowers and fasten them on the ball until it is covered by them all, except for a small patch on the bottom;
• Slightly bend the petals down to give them more naturalness.

How to make a trunk and install a sapling in a pot

Before continuing to make topiary from foamiran, remove the bark from the branch and leave it to dry for a couple of days. Then:

• Paint it with acrylic paint;
• Wait until it is dry;
• Sharpen one end;
• Make a small hole on the ball;
• Insert the pointed end of the branch there, having previously coated it with any suitable glue (for example, "Moment");
• In a pot with a suitable decor or painted with acrylic paint in the right color to lay out pebbles;
• At the end of the barrel of the topiary, fix the thick wire and make a large loop;
• Insert the tree in the pot and add pebbles so that they tightly squeeze its skeleton;
• In a separate vessel to mix the building plaster, gradually adding water, until you get a composition that resembles the density of sour cream;
• Quickly fill it with stones in the pot and straighten the trunk strictly in an upright position;
• Hold the tree until the plaster dries (usually about 10 minutes);
• Leave the topiary to dry for 3 hours, so that the moisture evaporates completely from the gypsum;
• From the floral sisal roll balls-balls;
• Paste them on the surface of the gypsum using hot glue.

A gentle variant in a tea cup

To start creating a flower, you will need a pattern. If you do not have ready at hand, you can draw two petals on a thick cardboard: one in the form of a droplet, the second - more and wider. For one rose, 7 large petals and 5 small ones will need to be cut from the fameiran. Then:

• Take a small foam ball and stick into it a piece of wire with a small eyelet;
• Pull out the end to get a kind of "chupa-chups";
• Tightly wrap the ball with a small petal, first applying a droplet of glue at the base;
• Repeat the same actions with all other parts of the same size;
• Petals for a couple of seconds are applied to the hot iron;
• Give them a convex shape, "pulling" on the thumb;
• Paste on the workpiece;
• From the green foyamiran the substrate is cut out in the form of 4 leaves with denticles, connected crosswise;
• Pierce it in the center and put it on the wire;
• In the same way make the right amount of roses.

Assembly

If a pink topiary from foamiran you want to install in a tea cup, you should stick a saucer to it with some reliable glue, designed for glass and ceramics.

While the dishes will dry, you can do the assembly of the "crown" of the tree. To do this, foam wire cuttings are stuck in a foam ball , trying to do it as tightly as possible. If the foam plastic is still visible, then from the green fomiran cut out the leaves and paste between the flowers.

Installation in a cup

• If necessary, apply a fine brush to the gypsum;
