"Throwing pearls before swine": biblical origin, meaning and morality

The interpretation of the instruction of Christ is multifaceted, but it is usually said that when a person does not measure the strength of his eloquence with the audience's capabilities. And, of course, the form of the saying is sharp enough, but not always the person using it wants to offend people.

For example, there is an opinion that a teenager is only able to perceive philosophy from 14-15 years old, then it does not make sense to pump him with wisdom, because he will not absorb it. Thus, if the teacher speaks in front of students who have not reached the designated age, he will be engaged in exactly what can be defined as "throwing beads."

Despite the fact that the film "Office Romance" came out in the Soviet era, when, in general, references to the Bible were not welcomed at all, two very interesting quotations crawled into the masterpiece of E. Ryazanov. One - referring us to the topic of our today's conversation, and the other, though not biblical, but also very curious.

Everybody knows that when a new deputy director, Yury Grigorievich Samokhvalov, came to the establishment where heroes work, he arranged an evening of acquaintance with his subordinates and employees. True, the audience knows that all this was quite difficult, because around the hate-love Kalugina and Novoseltsev plotted the whole film Ryazanov.

It's amazing, but two truncated, almost hidden quotes in Soviet film classics are related by one theme - the preservation of one's dignity by a person. The difference is that "casting beads in front of pigs" is a phraseology that calls not to get involved in disputes and disputes with people who are not worth it, and the dictum of the Spanish communist suggests active resistance to evil by violence. In youth, people usually throw their pearls around them without regret. The youth has a lot of energy and time, so everything is spent without looking back, when the resources become scarce, the person begins to think.

Surprisingly, according to the history of phraseology, "casting beads in front of pigs" (the origin of it clearly indicates to us this), to this wisdom, a young man by modern standards reached his mind.
