Attraction "Cobra", or a Throat of adrenaline

The whole week we are working in anticipation of Friday, because it is the weekend. Everyone is waiting for something interesting these days. But after all, not everyone has the opportunity during the weekend to fly over Tibet on a hang glider, jump with a parachute or ride a safari. But in fact today there are many modern attractions, where you can feel no less adrenaline rush. One of those is the attraction "Cobra" (Moscow). It is here that you can experience a fall at a speed of 100 kilometers per hour from the tower, whose height is 46 meters. But first things first.

The attraction "Cobra" is installed in the entertainment park "Wheel at the VVC". It's about 5 minutes walk from the main entrance. To get to this extreme entertainment is possible only after passing through the turnstile-screen. What it is? This is a kind of checkpoint, which does not let anybody, whose growth is less than 140 centimeters. It is a twisting element with partitions, which, having missed one, for a while freezes in anticipation of the next applicant with a ticket. Also it should be noted that the distance between the metal elements of the structure does not exceed 30 centimeters. It is for this reason that too fat people are also not allowed to pass.

Having passed the selection for the attraction "Cobra", you need to choose a booth. The greatest extreme can be obtained sitting in the front booths, where it is very scary to fly forward, and in the rear - too pulls back. The most optimal choice are medium booths. After landing, for each participant, the skeleton is put on top so that only the head and hands are visible from under it. For the safety of riding without fail it is necessary to fasten the belt, which goes from the seat to the frame. In each booth a sign with a recommendation is set not to bend forward and keep the head pressed to the headrest.

When all have already sat down, the attraction "Cobra" starts its "start". At this moment, the rear caravan clings a big hook and begins to drag the whole train back, and then up, to a height of thirty meters. Then this hook disengages, and the composition of the carriages swiftly flies down, then - past the landing platform and forward - to the dead loop. Overcoming it, the composition swiftly moves forward at an angle of almost 90 degrees. At this moment, the feeling of skiers is unforgettable, especially those who sit in the first trailer. After all, it comes to the very edge, and you can see how the rails come to an end, and ahead - only the sky and clouds.

Here the composition stops for a few seconds and the attraction "Cobra" freezes. And then with a high speed the composition goes down and again - a dead loop, then - the platform and lifting up, but already reversing. Then everything repeats from the very beginning, but without a hook. The process takes place with the cries of the participants of the skating, which periodically abate, then intensify. After the end of the ride, an entertainer announces that it is necessary to leave to the left. However, being impressed, many do not hear anything and go to the right.

The attraction "Cobra" at VVC is absolutely safe for a person. Summarizing the above, we can conclude that this attraction is combined two: the tower of freefall and the mountain with a dead loop. He works daily from 11 to 23 hours. The cost of one ticket is 250 rubles.
