These amazing edible purple mushrooms
Violet mushrooms have a very interesting exotic appearance, but are they edible? There are several purple macromycetes that can be safely eaten.
Spiderweb purple
This macromycete is also called an eagle. This purple mushroom has a scaly fibrous cap with a diameter of up to 12 cm. At first it is hemispherical, and then convex or convex-protuberant with drooping wavy edges. Its color is dark purple. Macromycete plates are rare, thick and wide, with a bluish cobweb coverlet, which eventually disappears. At first they are dark purple, and then with a rusty bloom. The flesh of the fungus is brittle, soft, at first bluish, and then whitish. Leg clavate, first continuous, and later hollow. At the top it is finely scaly, and below with fibrous bands.
The lavender series
This macromycete is also called a bluish, or a nude lepist. These purple mushrooms are conditionally edible (4th category). The cap of macromycete is hemispherical, with wrapped edges, later convex-prostrate, fleshy and dense. Diameter - up to 15 cm. First, the hat is purple, and then it changes the shade to light purple or reddish-brown. Macromycete plates are thin, frequent, loose, wide. At first they are purple, and then turn pale or become ocher-lilac. Leg cylindrical, clavate, smooth, even, fibrous, pale violet. Flesh with a fruity aroma, fleshy, lilac or ocher-cream.
Pizza purple
These purple mushrooms have a rather exotic appearance. The pepper refers to conditionally edible macromycetes of low quality. Fruit bodies of these fungi have a diameter of not more than 4 cm. They are sessile, globose, then urn-shaped with wrapped edges, then cup-shaped or saucer-shaped, and later - prostrate. Fruit bodies are slightly mealy. Their edges are wavy or solid. Outside, the mushrooms are slightly lighter. At first they are purple, light violet or purple, but eventually fade and become grayish-beige or whitish.
