Reviews for the series "Stamm" gave hope for success, so in August 2014 it was decided to release the second season. And a year later a third was announced. The fourth season, which FX channel will present in the summer of 2017, will be final.

Scenarios for the subsequent series were not invented on the go, as is often the case with television shows. Guillermo del Toro and Chuck Hogan planned the plot in advance, releasing the novel "Stamm" in the form of a trilogy. The third and fourth seasons of the series show the events of the final book.
