From large (5-liter or more) bottles, baskets are well produced, and two techniques can be used: simply cut out or weaved from long strips.

Making hand-made articles is also a good opportunity for joint creativity with children. We mention only a few of the most interesting ideas. Any boy loves robots - it's a fact. Therefore, it will be interesting to create it yourself, for example, such as in the photo below. As you can see, different materials (bottles and covers from them, trimming pipes) are used, but one color or two contrasting ones. Successfully in this case, the combination of clear and opaque plastic looks. The second life of plastic bottles is very original.

The second life: plastic bottles for the simplest system of drip irrigation

This method of delivering moisture to plants is advanced and allows growing vegetables even in the desert. At first you can not mess with hoses and special tapes, but use plastic bottles of the right size. There are several ways.

1. In the lid of the plastic bottle, make a few holes with a hot nail or an awl. Cut the bottom. The bottle must be dug into the ground, as shown in the picture.
   Or, you can make holes on the entire surface of the plastic container and dig it along the very neck, through which water will then gently pour.
   
   
2. The second method involves the use of a rod from a ballpoint pen, only initially it must be cleaned of ink. In this case, the bottle is placed directly on the ground next to the plant. The rod is fixed a few centimeters above the bottom.

Of course, this method does not replace you a full system of drip irrigation. It is more suitable for plants with a superficial root system and seedlings.

Virtually any subject can be given a second life. Plastic bottles, as a material, have an amazing versatility, which makes it possible to use them for making a lot of interesting and original things.
