The procedure for the certification of workplaces governs this mandatory from the point of view of the law procedure for assessing working conditions on them. As a result, dangerous and harmful factors are identified and ways to bring their condition into line with regulatory requirements. The procedure for attestation of workplaces has established that it can take place in a planned and unplanned mode. In the first case, the procedure is carried out at least once every 5 years. The period is counted from the time of the end of the previous certification, that is, the date of signing the order for its completion. The time for the commencement of a new procedure is the date of the order to approve the deadline for the next event and the composition of the commission (its composition is determined by the head or authorized by the appropriate official).

The procedure for attestation of workplaces stipulates cases when it needs to be carried out in an unscheduled order. Such reasons include the replacement of equipment in production, the change in technology, the change of means of collective protection. Also, unscheduled measures are taken in the event of commissioning of new jobs, state expertise requirements in terms of checking previous results, after finishing actions to improve working conditions.

The order determines who conducts the certification of jobs. This is a joint work of the employer and the specialized organization with which he must conclude the contract. This company must be accredited by the Ministry of Health and Social Development. It is carried out in a notification procedure, with the provision of a large set of documents confirming the organization's ability to perform qualitative assessment procedures.

The procedure for attestation of workplaces delineates the duties of the customer and the performer. In particular, the second party decides what methods of measurement and evaluation should be based on legislation and other legal acts, examines documents related to the provision of labor protection requirements, and requests explanations from the employer. In addition, it is the responsibility of the attesting organization to transmit a general statement of results and provide justification for the findings (if this is necessary for the customer). Workplace attestation is a procedure consisting of several stages. Among which it is necessary to allocate obligatory. Its main components are: development of a list of jobs to be assessed, verification of compliance of labor conditions with hygiene standards, identification of traumatic danger, verification of PPE security, and a comprehensive analysis of the results obtained.

During the whole procedure, a whole set of documents is formed. In particular, the following are considered mandatory: the order on the formation of the commission and the approval of the schedule, the list of seats, the general list, certification cards, the matrix of classes of working conditions, the program of measures for their improvement, the final protocol, and data on the performer.

After the completion of the entire process, the employer is obliged to sign an order to end it, to familiarize employees with the results, to send a package of documents, defined by the rules, to the labor inspectorate.
