The population of Ivanovo as a part of the society of Central Russia

The small city of Ivanovo is located in Central Russia. The first mention of him as a village, refers to 1608. At the end of the 19th century, the city of Ivanovo-Voznesensk was formed through the unification of the village and several settlements.

According to statistics, by 2016 the number was 408 thousand people, which is a good indicator for the urban district.

The national composition in Central Russia is Russian, and Ivanovo was no exception (more than 90%). In addition to Russians, Ukrainians, Tatars, Byelorussians, Armenians and Azerbaijanis reside on the territory (no more than 1%).

The main thing for the economy is industrial enterprises, therefore they train specialists who can work in factories and factories.
