The most common examples of a scientific article

Most of the content that is within the boundaries of the worldwide network is scientifically-cognitive. It can be articles even on the subject of body care, notes about dogs and so on. But those that are presented in the scientific style are equally in demand . Let's look at examples of the scientific article, its features and general characteristics.

General concepts of style

As already mentioned above, the text of a scientific nature does not necessarily have to carry a purely scientific burden. In this genre, you can describe everything, from carpet cleaning to the preparation of fried potatoes. Consequently, we first consider examples of a scientific article, which, as it were, are classical, that is, in them the semantic load coincides with the stylistic orientation. And then pay attention to the notes, decorated in a scientific style, but having a completely different context.

Example 1:

"The formation of the New Babylonian Kingdom in 626 BC. E. Became a new stage of evolution for all the inhabitants of Mesopotamia. It all started with the fact that the future ruler of this state, Nabopolosar, decided to separate a piece of land that historically belonged to the Babylonian kingdom from Assyria ... "

Example 2:

"In 1861, in the United States, after a long period of uprisings, civil war broke out. The main reason for this was political, agricultural and social inconsistencies between representatives of the southern and northern states ... "

Similar examples of a scientific article show us how certain historical facts can be conveyed to a person with the help of an accurate text, without various pompous speech phrases. That's why this kind of text can be found on historical, philosophical, mathematical and other sites. And, of course, it takes place in books and textbooks.

Non-standard features of the genre

Next, we'll look at how an "atypical" scientific article might look. An example will be the description of the recipe for cooking paella:

"For the preparation of paella, the following ingredients will be needed: rice, tomato paste, seafood, olive oil, green peas, peppers, saffron, onions and lemon slices. Let's fry onions in a skillet in olive oil. Then fall asleep rice and cover with a lid for 2 minutes. After adding water to the porridge and boiling everything on low heat for 20 min. In the meantime, fry seafood in another frying pan, chop the pepper ... "

Features of style

This and similar examples of the scientific article are also devoid of emotional coloring, they have no place for epithets, metaphors and hyperbolas. The purpose of this text is to convey the necessary information to the reader as accurately as possible. It is also worth noting that often such notes and articles are structured, have many subheadings and transfers. As a rule, they have an introductory part, the main one and the conclusion. If an article has a scientific connotation, it can also be supplemented by a goal, an algorithm, various methods, etc. (similar to the laboratory work that is done in school).

Every experienced journalist should know how to write a scientific article. The example makes it possible to orient in the features of this style of presentation, which further simplifies the task of writing the main text.
