How to Write a Scientific Article

Before writing a scientific article, one must understand what this work represents and what it is needed for. We note at once that scientific articles are written primarily by people who are directly related to science - candidates and doctors of science. However, the percentage of those who only make their first steps in science - graduate students and applicants is high. For these categories of young scientists, writing articles is especially important, because before you write an article in a scientific journal, they must conduct not only a thorough investigation, but also receive an approving assessment of the reviewer of the article or the scientific adviser.

In order for the article to be successful, it was carried out according to all the requirements and parameters and looked scientifically sound, it is necessary to conduct painstaking work not only on writing the article as such, but also on its design. Scientific youth can often be riddled with such questions. Typically, writing experience is acquired in the years of study, and pen samples are placed in newspapers, local magazines, etc. After all, knowing how to write an article in a newspaper is much easier to write an article in a more serious publication.

First of all, one must adhere to the rules that concern the construction of the article itself. It should have the necessary elements: introduction, relevance, historical overview, the purpose of the article, the main presentation of the material, conclusions and prospects for further research.

And now in order of this or that component. The introduction is often written for "red words". Here it is necessary to show the significance of your research and in a nutshell say what will be discussed. Entry is given only a couple of proposals, so as not to distract the reader and not spoil the opinion about work.

After the introduction, there is an urgency. Before you write a scientific article, make sure that the topic is still little explored and relevant. The material of the article should reveal those points that are of scientific interest for the time being. It is worth noting why this or that problem is taken for research, what the results of the work can give us.

Often it is difficult to review the historiography - literature written on the topic under study. Although the term "historiography", as it seems by name, refers only to history, but in all sciences a description of the problem that is being investigated is necessary. This is historiography, but some researchers call it a literature review.

In the historiographical part, the researcher should note what works came out on the topic of his article, what concepts and thoughts are outlined, with which one can agree and what to refute. Usually historiography is an enumeration of the available literature with its little critical accompaniment. At the same time, graduate students and applicants should understand that it is not worthwhile to distribute "certain things to the dust".

Based on historiographical gaps, it is worth formulating the purpose of your article. Before writing a scientific article, the researcher must have an idea of how this topic was researched before him. It is always necessary to single out a segment for research, which is little considered in science, is controversial or requires revision of positions. After the purpose of the article is formulated, it is necessary to lay out the main material. Here it is already possible to work on building up pages, since certain requirements are imposed on articles on this parameter.

After the material is outlined, it is possible to draw conclusions. They must be capacious and meaningful. Do not take what lies on the surface, this will make the study of little interest. To sum up, we need those positions on which new scientific results have appeared-these are the conclusions that will really interest the readers. In conclusion, it should be noted that the article is not exhaustive, and on this topic you can consider such and such aspects. This is called the prospect of further research, because other graduate students and applicants should know how to write a scientific article on this topic.
