Story line. Battle for the Motherland

The autumn of 1939. The Second World War begins. In the Crimea they meet the newly arrived Major of State Security Sokolov. The main goal of this strong and brave man is to find the agents of one organization that opposed the Soviets. Leadership of the counterintelligence of the ROVS is carried out by Staff Captain Semenov, bearing the pseudonym "Cross".

Sokolov and Semenov are very old enemies. Back in 1917, they, the Russian officers, were in the war against each other. Men perfectly know about each other and are aware of the appearance of each of them. Not once they imagined the possibility of killing each other, but each of them "is sick" for the death of the system, whose representative is the enemy. They, like gambling chess players, are starting a new, rather difficult game, in which the probability of victory is equal for both. And each of them in advance is ready to sacrifice any of the figures, even by himself, because the winner will be the Motherland. True, everyone understands this in their own way.

With the girls in the group includes the exiled herself - Maria Kovalevskaya (her task is to teach them to the languages), the former ballerina of the Bolshoi Theater Anna Leopoldovna (she will teach them good manners) and the doctor Margarita Sergeyevna. Captain Klyuyev must ensure the protection of the group.

Interesting movie facts

Because of the unexpected departure from the life of the actor who played the main role, while working on the mini-series had to make some adjustments to the shooting process. Writer Ilya Tilkin was hastily changed the ending of the film.

In the film there are episodes where the role of Major Sokolov was played by the understudy Panin. Because at the time when these episodes were being shot, the actor was no longer among the living. The actors of the series "The Heroes of Major Sokolov" helped the understudy get used to such a complicated moral situation. If you do not know, then guess what was not playing Panin, it's impossible.

According to the script, Tatiana Lutaeva (the role of Countess) has a daughter, Lusia. In the first series of the series was a heroine, which appears on the screen for a very short time. This is Edith. She dies at the end of the episode. The girl was played by Lutaeva's real daughter - Agnia Ditkovskite.

For the performer of the main role, his character was really the last. The unique, ingenious and very talented actor Andrei Panin passed away three and a half years ago. There will be no more bright roles in the cinema, he will not come to the telecast as a guest ... Involuntarily the role of the major became the actor's farewell to the audience. The actors of the film "The Hethers of Major Sokolov" unanimously supported the decision that this picture will be dedicated to him.

There is in this picture one more moment, clinging to the soul. Just one phrase: "You are not here to become better, you are here to become different, very different ...". And this is the characteristic of the whole plot. Perhaps a little tough, but it is. And these words were not intended for persistent and strong soldiers of the Soviet army, but for fragile girls, for whom fate was not very welcoming and they had to become hetera. In ancient Greece, the hetaera were not only beautiful outwardly, they had a good education. And in this situation, Major Sokolov, collecting the team, trying to take into account everything, so girls and teach manners, languages and other wisdom.

You can, of course, catch on to the fact that sometimes the insignia on the form did not coincide with the real titles of the heroes. But this did not change the meaning of the picture at all.

Since the bulk of the action takes place in the Crimea, it remains to be amazed by the ability of the authors of the series from the bright and sunny peninsula to make a nondescript, gray, just to match those far years.

Very qualitatively, the painting "The Heroes of Major Sokolov" was filmed. Actors Forced the audience to cry and laugh. Is this not an indicator of success?
