The character of the animated series "South Park" Kyle Broflovski

One of the main characters of the animated series for adults "South Park" Kyle Broflovski has long become a cult and even has his own fan club. Emotional skeptic in a green hat with earflaps throughout the 19 seasons of the scandalous project of Trey Parker and Matt Stone is a powerful opposition to Eric Cartman, an aggressive anti-Semite with sadistic inclinations. From the series to the series, the hero fights for justice and honesty. Kyle is more serious than other characters of the animated series, refers to the events taking place in South Park, trying to analyze them and draw conclusions. He, like his friend Stan Marsh, periodically sums up the series, saying the words: "Today I understood a lot."

The exterior of Kaila Broflowski

Fans of Kyle rightly suggest that he has Eastern European roots. This is eloquently hinted hat with ear-flaps. And this is a very atypical wardrobe for a Jewish American.

His hat does not remove almost never. To do this, Kayla will not force a trip to the synagogue, nor trauma to the skull. The hero sleeps in it, puts a bale on top of it, and even the bandages the doctor places on her head, not on her head.

Kyle Broflowski without a cap appears only in some episodes. So, looking through the series "Little fighters against crime", viewers can see that under it lies a huge mop of red curly hair, reminiscent of a hairdo "Afro".

Green mittens and a red jacket also became an indispensable attribute of the character. However, sometimes he appears on the screen and in unusual clothes like a red sheet.

Appearance Kayla does not cause special emotions in girls at school. In their secret list, he takes the last place in terms of attractiveness. Even the fat man Cartman is ahead of Kyle by one position. From offense, the hero decides to set fire to school. Such an emotional reaction is a typical phenomenon for such a sensitive character as Kyle Broflovski. The hero's photo is presented below.

Hero's personality

At school, Kyle studies exceptionally well. According to Mr. Harrison, he is very clever and smart. Kyle grasps everything on the fly and even has some talents, to school successes, however, there is no relationship. He plays the guitar perfectly, skillfully handles the weapon and is known as a first-class hacker.

And at times of mental anguish Kyle Broflovski can immerse himself in psychology and philosophy. Once, doubting the existence of the Tooth Fairy, the hero begins to explore the problems of being. As a result of scientific research, he calls into question his own existence. And this is not surprising, because Kyle, in principle, is addicted to nature. Sometimes this brings the hero to the point of absurdity, and he is ready to bombard Pearl Harbor, imbued with the ideas of the Chinpoco monsters.

At the same time Kyle's emotionality and his desire for justice push him sometimes to unexpected things for everyone. Having watched the film "The Passion of the Christ", the hero comes to real horror and decides to make the Jews apologize for the murder of Jesus before the whole world. Kyle even admits the rightness of the harsh racist Cartman, despising all representatives of this nationality. And this is really a sign of a strong emotional shock, because he hates Eric.

Eternal hostility between Kyle Broflovski and Eric Cartman

Cartman and Kyle are sworn enemies. Eric is constantly mocking Broflowski because of his nationality. Kyle in return makes him rough "compliments" about obesity. In the first seasons, the jokes of the heroes are harmless, but later their relationship goes into the stage of extreme hatred and aggression towards each other.

Kyle is ready to destroy Cartman. As a result of another "exchange of courtesies," Broflovski begins to beat him with a truncheon and can not stop. And when it turns out that Eric is sick with AIDS, Kyle breaks into a hysterical laugh.

However, Broflowski does not throw a friend in trouble, although he sincerely hates him. In the episode "This is Jersey," Cartman falls into the paws of the effeminate creature Snuky, who dreamed of raping him. Kyle, despite his disgust and dislike of Eric, saves him.

In the same series, the background of Broflowski's emotional instability is revealed. It turns out that his mother Sheila, like Snooky, comes from New Jersey, where, according to the story, only psychopaths live. Perhaps, that's why Kyle Broflovski sometimes wants to do a plastic surgery or kill Cartman. However, Eric wants to destroy everything that does not interfere with friendship. After all, Kyle and Cartman sometimes get along well and even engage in joint business.

True friendship: Kyle and Stan

With the other heroes of the animated series, Broflovski has a wonderful relationship. However, his really strong friendship is associated only with Stan Marsh. Both heroes come to each other's aid in any situation, and only occasionally quarrels occur between them, as in the episode narrating about the icy man.

Schoolchildren find him in a cave. To the ice man they decide to give a name. Everyone has his own option, but nobody is ready to make concessions. Having quarreled with each other, Stan and Kyle hope to find support from Cartman. However, a close friendship with Eric, as the heroes reason after the final fight, is a sad prospect, so the conflict between Stan and Kyle exhausts itself. Such episodes in the "South Park" can be counted on the fingers.

The friendship of Wall and Kyle is something predetermined, because both heroes embodied the alter ego of their creators. Prototype of Stan was Trey Parker, and Kayla - Matt Stone, who also turned out to be a Jew by nationality.

They sing together in the intro to the animated series, periodically sum up the episodes and comment on the death of Kenny, who is the "chip" of the whole project. It was Kyle Broflowski who exclaimed "Bastards!" In response to Stan's indignant "They killed Kenny!"

Relationship with Kenny

With a victim of plane crashes, arbitrary spontaneous combustion, alien invasion and other absurd incidents that invariably lead to death, Kyle maintains a warm relationship, although he sometimes allows himself to laugh at the poverty of his friend's family.

With Kenny he does not have conflicts, and when he again dies of muscle disease, however, unlike previous incidents, long and painfully, Kyle is going through the most for his fate. He takes sincere care of a friend and deals with Cartman, who decides to build a business on his next death.

Family of the main character

Kyle comes from a Jewish family. The father genuinely loves the hero, and his mother periodically has a sense of fear. Combat Sheila Broflowski in the rush of caring for his son severely restricts his freedom, prompting him to unordinary actions.

In the episode "The Story of Nasty Pestering," Kyle decides to build democracy in Cuba and writes an emotional letter to Fidel Castro, only to go to a concert for which his mother does not let go. Sheila Broflovski could not even imagine that her son would fulfill her task in one evening.

Kyle is not the only child in the family. He has a younger brother Ike, whom he regularly kicks with his foot. And this is not violence, but a kind of game between the characters. It's called: "Stump the baby." In flight, Kyle Broflovski's brother laughs cheerfully. Ike is Canadian by origin. In the family of Broflowski he is a foster son, which, however, does not affect the relations of the brothers in any way.

Death and resurrection

Some characters of the animated series periodically die, and Kyle is no exception. In the entire history of the "South Park" Kyle is killed three times, and once in Cartman's dreams of AIDS.

Two more times he loses his life in episodes from the trilogy about Imagination. In the second part Kyle dies from the deadly wounds inflicted on him by Chelmedvedosvin. Doctors tell friends about his death, but Cartman is unable to withstand such a stroke, so he begins to do a comrade heart massage. How else? After all, Kyle argued his desire.

The last time the hero dies in the final part of the trilogy with Stan Marsh as a result of a nuclear explosion, but they are resurrected by Butters, who returned the power of thought to Imagination in the pre-war time.

Character in popular culture

Kyle got a wide audience of fans. He is quoted and discussed at forums, fanfics are written about him, he is imitated. Particularly ardent admirers of the heroes of the "South Park" are hot discussions, who is steeper: Eric Cartman or Kyle Broflovski? Cosplay on this character can be seen on social networks and on themed parties. He, like the other characters of the animated series, firmly entered the mass culture. And the famous green hat Kayla Broflowski and the red jacket on the young people - that's a vivid confirmation.
