The allowed speed on the road and in the village. Permissible speed on MKAD

Even those who are not the first time to sit behind the wheel of a car, do not always know how quickly you can move in those or other places. Of course, before you go, it's best to find out what speed is allowed on the road, in the cities, villages and courtyards that you plan to drive. As practice shows, experienced drivers need only know the rules and understand what road signs designate and orientate on them. After all, not everyone has the opportunity to learn the nuances of movement in various localities before entering each of them.

Rules for trails

SDA set limits on the speed of traffic. At the same time for these indicators, not only the maximum, but also the minimum values are determined. For example, if the highest speed for each situation is indicated in the 10th paragraph of the Rules, then in the 16th the cases are defined where it can not be less than the set value.

So, the normative acts indicate the permitted speed on the route, it is 90 km / h for any roads and 110 - for motorways. These restrictions apply to cars and trucks, the weight of which does not exceed 3.5 tons. If you see a sign on the road as indicated in the SDA as 5.1, when you enter the road, it means that you are on a motorway. The permitted speed of movement there reaches 110 km / h.

Conditions for motorways

If about the maximum restrictions remember almost everything, then that on certain roads you can not travel too slowly, for some reason they forget. But the 16th paragraph of the SDA established rules for highways. It says that on these roads the movement of pets, pedestrians, mopeds, bicycles and other means is prohibited , the speed of which can not exceed 40 km / h by technical parameters.

In the same place, it is not permitted to stop the transport outside of specially designated zones, turns and entrances to strip breaks intended for technological purposes, training driving or reversing.

In addition, the rules of paragraph 16 apply to "Roads for cars", which are marked with the sign of 5.3. They are subject to the same restrictions on the minimum speed regime, the presence of pedestrians, slow-moving vehicles. They differ from motorways for cars for cars only because they do not have dividing strips and multi-level traffic interchanges. Moreover, the sign of 5.3 does not mean that the indicated path is the main one in relation to the others.

Driving in human settlements

It does not matter if you are driving along a highway that divides a small village, or you move around the city, the speed of your traffic is limited. Even a slight violation of traffic rules can lead to the creation of an emergency situation and disastrous consequences. So, the rules set the allowed speed in the village, it is the same for everyone and does not depend on the traffic intensity, the number of pedestrians or people living there. For all vehicles, it can not exceed 60 km / h. If you move along the road and enter the city, then look at the signs - so you can understand when the settlement begins. Do not forget to slow down at this moment.

When driving on residential areas marked with the sign of 5.21, or in the territory of yards, the speed can not be above 20 km / h. This is the only way to ensure the safety of people living there who have the right to walk safely near their homes, recreation areas and playgrounds. By the way, in such places drivers are obliged to skip absolutely all pedestrians, even if they walk along the carriageway outside a specially equipped passage.

Reservations for human settlements

But SDA has the opportunity to establish at a regional level higher speed indications for individual vehicles. This is done if road conditions allow safe traffic on certain sections of the road. If the local government decides on what should be the allowed speed on the route passing through the settlement, then it is drawn up with the appropriate road signs. However, it can not be more than the set values for highways. If you move out of the road on which another speed limit is allowed, then immediately the rules for the settlement begin to operate.

Driving along the MKAD

Many residents of Russia are panic-stricken to get on the entire well-known Moscow ring road. They do not even know how much is the permitted speed on the MKAD. Despite the fact that this is a modern track without one-level intersections, with excellent road surface, fences all the way, it is considered very difficult. The reason for this is a huge number of junctions in the form of arrivals from refuellings, tire shops, shopping centers. In addition, the situation is complicated by the fact that this road is usually a large number of trucks.

Currently, the permitted speed on the Moscow Ring Road is 100 km / h for all lanes. Taking into account the fact that this road is considered a backbone, the established regime is quite adequate. Although in fact in the extreme left side, the flow often moves at a speed of 120, or even 130 km / h.

Limitations for buses, trucks with people and passenger vehicles with groups of children

If in the territory of settlements the rules regarding the high-speed regime apply to everyone, then with the departure for their limits the situation changes. For example, for small and intercity buses the permitted speed on the route is 90 km / h. It does not matter whether the passenger vehicle is traveling along the highway, motorway, MKAD or elsewhere where other maximum restrictions are set.

If it is a truck with a people in the back of the car, the maximum speed allowed is 60 km / h. Up to the same indicators, it is possible to accelerate those drivers who are organized in groups of children.

Peculiarities of driving towing and cargo vehicles

It's not a secret for anyone that heavy-duty vehicles have their own limitations. For example, the permitted speed of the road for trucks with a maximum mass exceeding 3.5 tonnes is 70 km / h for all roads that pass outside the territories of settlements. If such a car rides on the highway, then it has the right to accelerate to 90 km / h.

The same restrictions apply to buses that are not listed in the previous paragraph, and for all vehicles that travel with a trailer. If you need to tow another car, the speed can not be above 50 km / h.

Special conditions

Currently, Russian legislation provides that in some cases it is possible to increase the maximum permitted speed. However, the decision on this should be taken by the owner or owner of the road. For example, if certain conditions are met on motorways, the speed can be increased to 130 km / h. For this, there should be no sharp narrowing, turns, drips, steep descents and lifts and traffic lights on this route. That is, there are few places where this speed can be resolved. In this case, no one track falls completely under the permitted mode of motion. Most often these are certain sections of highways. But drivers can not choose them at their own discretion, they have special signs.

So, everyone knows that the permitted speed on the route is 90 km / h. At the same time, many already know that the driver will not be fined if the excess is not too large. So, the increase in speed from the maximum permissible by another 20 km / hour does not threaten anything. That is, on the roads you can safely go if the speedometer readings slightly exceed the figure of 100.

On sections of highways, where traffic is allowed at a speed of 130 km / h, the machine can actually be dispersed to almost 150 without risking a fine. But consciously exceed the speed is not worth it, because the speedometer, like the radar, can determine the indicators with a small error. Therefore, in such a situation, the risk of Apa increases.

Rules for overtaking

Many drivers mistakenly believe that during the movement the permitted speed on the highway is not regulated by anything. However, it is not. In paragraph 10 of the Regulations, it is written that the vehicle must move according to traffic rules, taking into account the traffic intensity. It does not matter if one car overtakes another or not. Also, when making a maneuver, it is necessary to remember not only the observance of the high-speed regime, but also of other rules, to closely monitor the road markings. Drivers who are overtaken should not interfere with this, increasing their speed of movement.
