The cuisine of any country has its own method of cooking roast rice . Here in Thailand, you can easily try this dish, because there it is sold at every step. Rice in Thai is called "kau pad", in literal translation it sounds like "fried rice". There are such specifying names: "kau pad kai" - that is, rice with an egg, "kau pad gai" - with a chicken. "Kau pad moo" - rice with meat, with shrimps - "kau pad gung". In addition, in one recipe you can combine the egg, chicken, shrimp. This article will tell about all this.

Some secrets of choosing ingredients

The main component of the dish is fried rice in Thai, this is understandable by name, of course, is rice. You can take both long-grain and round-grain. There is no fundamental difference, so you can follow your own taste. The main thing is that the rice does not boil and does not crumble when cooking.

On the second place among the ingredients are seafood. As for the shrimp, it is better to take the cleaned ones. Suitable are the most common shrimp, not necessarily spent on royal or brindle. Rice recipe with seafood

Fried rice, whose recipes are different, cook very easily. In this case, we will use such ingredients:

  • 250 g of rice;
  • Two Bulgarian peppers;
  • Onion (1 pc.);
  • two eggs;

  • King prawns (8 pcs.);
  • 200 g of mussels;
  • One lime;
  • soy sauce;
  • salt;

Rice boil in salted water. We cut Bulgarian peppers and onions with cubes, fry them 2-3 minutes in oil. We cut with squid rings, fry 1-2 minutes on sunflower oil, add mussels and fry for another three minutes. Boil the shrimp, clean, without removing the tails. Add them to squids with mussels, sprinkle with the juice of the fourth part of lime. In a frying pan fry the eggs so that the so-called "talker" turns out.

Cook the boiled rice in vegetable oil until dry. We add seafood, vegetables and eggs to it, fry for 2-3 more minutes. We serve a dish with soy sauce and lime.

The recipe for "kau pad gung"

To prepare rice in Thai, the recipe of which we now outline, you will need:

  • Sunflower oil - three st. L .;
  • Large cloves of garlic - several pieces;
  • Large shrimps - 7-8 pieces;
  • two eggs;
  • Rice - a half cup;
  • Ketchup tomato - 2.5 tbsp. L .;
  • Sugar - one tsp;
  • Soy sauce - one and a half tbsp. L .;
  • greenery.

We will cook the fried rice in Thai with shrimps as follows. First, we cook the rump. Next, we take a frying pan with high walls, warm it up in oil, fry until golden color, chopped garlic. Add the peeled shrimp. There is one very important nuance. If large specimens are used, it is extremely important to remove the intestines from them. Otherwise you can get a slight poisoning. And to remove it is very simple. Detach the shrimp head, clean the scales, along the ridge make a small incision, remove the intestine (a thin black band).

Once the shrimp are fried, remove them and garlic from the pan. We break eggs into the frying pan. The resulting omelet is torn with a wooden spatula into thin pieces, add already boiled rice, mix well. Now add sugar, ketchup, soy sauce. We mix everything and spend two minutes on the fire. We spread the rice on the dish. From above we place shrimps and decorate with greens.

"Cow pad" with egg, chicken, shrimp

A rice with an egg in Thai can be cooked together with shrimps and chicken. It is with this recipe that we suggest that you read. The following ingredients will be needed:

  • One red pepper (sweet);
  • One chili pepper (red);
  • one egg;
  • One art. L. Olive oil;
  • Two heads of onions;
  • Three cloves of garlic;
  • 3 tbsp. L. Broth of chicken (boiled water);
  • 3 tbsp. L. Soy sauce;
  • One art. L. curry;
  • One tsp. Sahara;
  • 100 g of cashew nuts;
  • 500 g of boiled rice;
  • 150 g of pineapple;
  • 200 g boiled shrimps (peeled);
  • Two bunches of onions (green);
  • 300 g of chicken fillet.

In the frying pan, we warm up the olive oil. Add the chopped onion, Bulgarian red pepper, chopped, chilli (red), garlic. Fry all 1-2 minutes on very high heat. At the same time, we diligently interfere. Lightly beat the egg and pour it into the vegetables. Fry a minute. Add soy sauce, chicken broth, sugar, curry. Stirring. Chop the chicken fillet and add to the already seasoned vegetables. Fry for five minutes. We pour cashews, mix well. Add rice without lumps, pineapple, shrimp. Stirring. Five minutes fry, remove from the plate, add chopped green onions. All mix. You can use green onions for decoration. We eat rice in Thai and mentally enjoy a trip to Thailand.

The recipe for "kau pad kai"

If you want to cook rice in Thai, but finance does not allow you to buy shrimp, which in our time is not cheap, you can cook it from the products that are always in the house. For example, from:

  • One glass of boiled rice;
  • One chicken egg;
  • 1 tsp. Fresh chopped garlic;
  • Half a teaspoon. Sahara;
  • 1 tbsp. L. Soy sauce;
  • Salt, greens, vegetable oil.

Heat the frying pan with oil. We put the egg and garlic. Fry a little, so that garlic gave the egg its smell. Add the rice, stir well until a uniform mixture, fry. We fill with sugar and soy sauce. Stir well. We decorate with greens. You can serve with fresh vegetables and green onions.
