Many people know how useful blueberry is. The recipe of the billet from this berry can be useful to you if you want to keep its properties for the winter. You can make jam, compote, mousse, kissel, jelly or just rub it with sugar.

First try to prepare the jam. It is so delicious that you can immediately make it in large quantities - this delicacy will definitely be in demand in your family. First, prepare the banks. They must be whole, without chips and cracks, the lids should approach them in size. They need to be thoroughly examined, washed first with soda, and then under running water, and then sterilized. For this you can use three methods - steam, oven and boiling. The latter looks like this: banks and lids, fully immersed in water, boil for no more than ten minutes. With the help of steam, formed over a pot of boiling water, it is possible to sterilize the containers by placing them on the dissector. It is most convenient to use the oven. Place cans and covers in a cold oven, turn it on and soak for about fifteen minutes at a temperature of one hundred and fifty degrees Celsius. Glass containers will become hot - be careful when taking them out. If you have already harvested blueberries, the recipe looks like this:

  • Kilogram of berries to sort out, remove rubbish and spoiled berries.
  • Rinse the blueberry under running cold water, dry.
  • Put on the small fire the enameled basin, in it to pour five hundred grams of water, add all the blueberries and five glasses of sugar.
  • Brew, without stopping to interfere with a wooden spoon. The mixture should be well boiled. Stirring, you will notice how homogeneous the blueberry has become.
  • The recipe suggests the use of citric acid or lemon juice - three grams of one of these substances should be added to the jam.
  • After that, you need to cook for another two minutes, spread out on cans, close the lids. Keep jam in a dark place.

In a similar way, you can make jelly. Crushed blueberries (the recipe involves the use of fresh berries only) should boil and cook a little. It is necessary to separate the juice and add sugar and gelling agent. The readiness test is carried out as follows: a drop of jelly must not dissolve in a glass of water, but fall to the bottom.

Pie with blueberries. The recipe for gentle baking

To prepare six servings, take half a kilogram of berries, a glass of sour cream, a packet of butter. It will take another three hundred and fifty grams of ordinary wheat flour of the highest quality, or a mixture of wheaten and oatmeal. And also for one hundred grams of powdered sugar, coconut chips and brown sugar, a tablespoon of lime peel and two tablespoons of starch. First, prepare a scraper. For this, a hundred grams of butter and the same amount of flour rub your hands with brown sugar, zest and coconut. Let the workpiece lie in the refrigerator while you are cooking the dough. To do this, melt the remaining oil, mix with the sour cream and the remaining ingredients. Lay out in the form, level. Over lay out the berries, interspersed with starch, and on top - the shtreyzel. The oven is thirty minutes.
