Instruction for use recommends that this drug should be prescribed to adults 3-4 times a day in a dose of 0.2 g. The first dose should be taken before meals, washed down with water for the fastest absorption of the drug. The remaining doses should be taken after meals, so that "Ibuprofen" is gradually absorbed.

The drug of this group can cause the following side effects: nausea, heartburn, dizziness, flatulence, toxic amblyopia, allergic reactions, disruption of normal functioning of the kidneys, insomnia, agitation. - exacerbations of stomach or duodenal ulcers;

- thrombocytopenia, amblyopia, hemorrhagic diathesis ;

- nonspecific ulcerative colitis ;

- portal hypertension;

- the last trimester of pregnancy;

- Lactation.

With the simultaneous administration of "Ibuprofen" with ACE inhibitors, reduces their antihypertensive activity (with furosemide and hypothiazide reduces their natriuretic activity). The toxicity of lithium and methotrexate drugs is increasing. Caffeine enhances the analgesic effect of ibuprofen. Increases the digoxin content in plasma.
