One of the few such works is the last film directed by Vladimir Motyl "The Crimson Color of Snowfall." Plot

The main character, called Xenia Gerstel, comes from Kiev. She suddenly loses the closest and most loved people. A father, a wealthy successful industrialist, is killed by pogromists. And the bridegroom Sasha perishes at the front.

Not knowing what to do next, Xenia decides to join the members of the Red Cross organization. Becoming a sister of mercy, she goes to the front to treat the wounded. It was there that she became acquainted with the fifty-three-year-old Major General Rostislav Batorsky, who returns her faith in life and becomes her fiancé. Again feeling the proximity of happiness, Xenia fell in love with Batorsky with all her heart. After the war the lovers settled in Petrograd. Everything was fine, until the revolution began.

The main role in the film was played by the Serbian actress Daniela Stojanovic. She perfectly embodied on the screen the image of the daughter of a large industrialist Xenia Gerstel, who was left in the midst of World War I all alone.

The actress was born on April 27, 1970. She comes from the Serbian city of Nis. She studied well at school, but the best sciences were given her the exact sciences. That's why, after graduating from 8 classes, Daniela was transferred to a mathematical gymnasium. But time has shown that the girl's true vocation is acting. She again changes her place of study, moving to a school with a theatrical bias. After receiving the certificate, Stojanovic went to Belgrade, entered the department of theatrical art of the Belgrade State University of Arts. After 5 years with a diploma in her hands, Daniela went to the People's Theater in one of the Serbian cities, where she was immediately accepted into the troupe. A few years later she moved to the Belgrade Drama Theater.

When in 1999 in the then Yugoslavia war came, the actress left for Russia to wait out troubled times. But fate decreed that the northern capital of Russia became for her a city where she met her love and found her calling.

Danielle's husband was Andrey Surotdinov, a violinist from the group "Aquarium". And with the work, too, everything was in order. Several St. Petersburg theaters immediately took the Serbian actress to their troupes.

She was invited to the series. But the first landmark role in the big cinema was played by her in the film of Vladimir Motyl "The Crimson Color of Snowfall". Actors, including Daniela, were personally selected by the director himself. As V. Motyl later admitted, he did not regret that he took on the main role it was Daniel.

Now the actress has more than a dozen successful works in such films as "Voices", "Faith Try", "Heavenly Judgment" and others.

Mikhail Filippov (role - Rostislav Batorsky)

Rostislav Batorsky was played by the Russian actor Mikhail Filippov. He was born on 15. 08.1947 in Moscow. For four years he studied at the Faculty of Moscow State University. Then he accidentally got into the theater studio "Our Home", where he realized that he wanted to become an actor. He dropped MSU and entered GITIS.

After graduation from the institute (1973), he was admitted to the Moscow Academic Theater. Mayakovsky. The debut in the movie took place in 1976, when Filippov appeared on the screen in the role of Mr. Fouquet in S. Gerasimov's painting "Red and Black".

For the next 6 years, Mikhail did not act in film, concentrating on the theater. Then he returned to the cinema and to date has played in more than 45 scenes. But the actor himself considers himself more theatrical actor.

Mikhail Filippov considers the role of Major-General Bator in the painting "Crimson color of the snowfall," the actors and creators of which perfectly conveyed the atmosphere of the troubled life of Russia in the early 20th century, one of the brightest in his film career.

The first wife of the actor was Irina Andropova (daughter of Yuri Andropov). From this marriage Michael's son was born. The couple diverged, and Mikhail married actress Natalia Gundareva. They were together until her death.

The third wife of the actor was actress Natalia Vasilyeva.

Alexander Turcan (role - Trofim Ridge)

Alexander was born on January 2, 1960. He did not become an actor at once. Educated at the Moscow Road Institute, he worked for several years in the construction and operation of aerodromes.

Only at the age of thirty he dramatically changed his life, becoming a student of the Moscow Higher Theater School. Boris Shchukin.

Initially, played a minor role in the series. Since 2006, the actor began to trust more serious roles ("Hijacking", "Special Group", "Moscow, Three Stations"). The role of Trofim Krjazhny in the painting "Crimson color of snowfall," whose actors were largely unknown to the audience before the film, was Alexander's first work in a big movie. Now the artist is often invited to the role of employees of internal organs, the images of which he successfully embodies on the screen.
