So, the decision is made - the bar stand will be homemade. Before starting work, you need to think carefully. For greater accuracy, it is best to draw a drawing. The bar support must be proportional. Bearing structures are required to withstand the whole weight, for this it is necessary to calculate everything and put on the drawing. In addition, the drawing will help you not to buy too much. Since the eyes are usually bought materials with a margin, and this is all the money. What is important for a self-made rack is a low price. So it's better to make a plan in advance, in which the future rack should be described.

What should the rod stand look like, made with your own hands

In extreme cases, you can buy it at any specialized store. By the way, this will be a good solution, since for sure the purchased lounger will be equipped with devices for pumping the press. The bench and bar stand will take up a lot of space, so it is better to collect them separately.

Materials for work

You do not need too many materials for the rack. All the same, it will be cheaper than in the store. So, for work in the first place you will need two types of shaped pipe of square shape (a kind of rolled metal). In order to change the height and width of the rack, you need to put one tube into the other, so one should be smaller than the other. The mechanism is simple: from one tube another bulges, and its position can be adjusted, thereby lowering or raising the level of the rod.

To ensure that the design has withstood all the load, it will be sufficient to have a profile pipe of one type 40 to 40 millimeters and a cross section of 2 millimeters. Its length is 5 meters. The second (pull-out tube) should be 30 by 30 millimeters, in a cross section of 2 millimeters and a length of 3 meters.

Also, the important part is the neck holder. It will require two 6 mm steel sheets 50 by 200 millimeters.

To make the bars, you need a small pipe measuring 30 centimeters. Since the pens will be two, it is best to take two tubes of 15 centimeters.

It will take a couple more bolts (act as the regulator itself). They should not be too thin, otherwise under a lot of weight they just have a bite. The most optimal thickness of such bolts is 8 millimeters. Since the whole construction is made of metal, it will seriously scratch the floor and thunder. To bring less damage to the apartment and not to interfere with neighbors, you need to stock up on rubber stands. These are pieces of rubber with a thickness of 5 millimeters. Such an adaptation makes the whole structure more stable, and, therefore, reliable.

Closer to the point, or How to make a foundation

On the basis is almost all the load. It must be very strong and stable. Also, it must be collapsible, so that it takes up less space in the apartment. So, we proceed to manufacture the base of the future rack. The first thing to do is to cut the metal profile into the desired length bars. The bottom is the part into which the smaller (30 to 30) profile will later be inserted, which will hold the bar. It will look like the big letter "T".

First you need to prepare all the tools. In the base you need two blocks of 700 and 300 millimeters in length. This will require a thicker profile (40 by 40). Two bars should be welded with the same letter "T" so that from the middle of the longer one in both directions there would be 15 centimeters. It is this design that will ensure maximum stability. In a 30-centimeter bar, a bolt hole is drilled - it will adjust the width.

It should be noted the middle of the letter "T". This is where you should weld the next bar length of 850 millimeters. From this bar there will be another one, on which the neck will lie. But under a large load the bar can bend, so from the base to the middle of the rack you need to weld an additional bar of 550 millimeters in length. It will serve as additional support. It is welded at an angle so that it connects the vertical and horizontal bar. At the end of the vertical you need to make a hole for the bolt. It should be no less than the diameter of the bolt.

By the same principle, a similar construction is made.

How to do the rest

Before welding, you need to bend the steel sheets so that they look like a hook. "Hooks" are welded to bars (30 by 30) with a length of 900 mm. It turns out 2 long bars with a hook on the end. Behind the hook is welded a spout of pipe - the future bars. The same is done with another profile.

Every 5 cm a hole is drilled with a diameter of a bolt. Thanks to these holes, the rod post can adjust its height.

The height can already be adjusted, but how to change the width? To do this, you need a profile (30 by 30) with a length of 1100 millimeters. It also drills holes with an intercentral value of 5 centimeters. His place in a larger profile (40 by 40), namely in a small block of the base of the letter "T". Leaving the base, it can adjust the width of the rack or rails.
