Leash should be taken long enough: from 15 to 25 centimeters, with very reliable attachment points and quality fittings. If the fishing takes place on the turntables, then you still need to have two swivels with a comparable in size clasp.

In this case, the fisherman should know that using such a bait, it is better to use a thin and elastic leash made of stranded material, whereas with aggressively playing jerks, gliders or twitching wobblers, the hardest variety is best combined.
