Almost any person will not refuse to eat smoked fish cooked in "homemade", and in this form it will be stored much longer.

So, what is needed to make a smokehouse for fish with their own hands. It does not provide for complex designs, and the material can be found in your garage or in the pantry.

A very primitive way is to use as a smoking capacity an old ten-liter tank, but it should not be thin. As a tray used grilles or rods. In the first case, smokehouses for fish with their own hands can be bunk, in the second case the perches are welded with spot welding at one level, crossing, and the fish is suspended on hooks. When welding, do not forget about safety.

The seams of the smokehouse must be welded completely, do not leave any crevices in order to avoid seepage of the smoke. The bins are installed in two tiers and must be removable for easy cooking. To do this, on the long sides a small channel is welded by spot welding, on which the grid is located. The cover must be flat, not deformed, with a handle and snug against the drawer. Such a smokehouse can be taken with you for fishing, and the catch can be cooked immediately. The principle of operation is the same as in the case of a conventional tank.

The third way. Electric smoking, made by hand, more complex in the design. Its dimensions may vary, depending on the volume of fish that you plan to cook. Some folk craftsmen use as a drawer a non-working refrigerator without internal parts, old gas stoves or make it of sheet metal 2 mm thick.

The peculiarity of the electrocaptile is that the heating element is not an open fire, but an electric burner built into the smoking box. In the upper part there are perches for hanging fish.

A bowl with walnut sawdust is installed on the cooking plate, a pan is installed on top to reduce heat, tightly closed with a lid, and everything, you can start smoking.
