Storage of cement

The bottom of the tank is made specifically in the form of a cone, at the end of which a shutter is installed. It is this device that serves to receive or dispense cement. The shutter, if desired, can be made of one of two types:

• Sheeting.
• Turning.

To ensure that the cement does not stagnate in the silo, a pneumatic pump is used. If you install several silos, this will be called a cement warehouse. Silos for cement are produced in a total volume of 30 to 120 tons.

Completion of silo

Each silo in its kit contains the following elements:

• Silo bank. Directly the tank itself for loading cement.
• Supports on which the construction will stand.
• Staircase silo. Need to lift up to check the level of silage load.
• Fencing on the roof of the silo. It serves to prevent accidents at work.

At the request of the customer, the following parts can be included in the silo kit:

• Silo filter.
• Sensors controlling the level of cement loading.
• Cement aeration system.
• Pressure relief valve. For emergency cases, to avoid rupture or breakage of the tank.

The price for silage will be calculated individually, based on its configuration, volume and weight.

Filter

A cement silo filter is an indispensable part of each tank. It is needed in order to remove excess air from the silo, and also to filter it. The most commonly used round in the form of a sleeve filters with built-in corrugated cartridges. At the request of the customer, the filter can be installed as standard or it can be ordered according to individual needs. You can buy such a product of any manufacturer from different countries of the world, including our domestic ones. Cement refers to weakly abrasive materials, so the filter must be chosen appropriate. In our case, a round filter is suitable.

Silo filter and its equipment

Silo for cement is completed with a round filter. Consider what it consists of:

• Flange.
• Emergency valve, which is needed for the safe operation of the filter, since the equipment is constantly under pressure.

Operation of the filter is strictly prohibited without such a safety valve.

Depending on the type of filter they can be low-budget and medium-price categories. Individual specimens are produced with an automatic system for pneumatic regeneration of hoses. Everything will depend on the working area of the silage and its size. It is worth remembering that pneumatically cleaned filters work much more efficiently than vibro-cleaning filters.
