Shtern Boris Gedalevich: a short biography and interesting facts from life
Stern Boris Gedalievich (the books of this author were reprinted in English, Spanish, Swedish and other languages of the world) is known in the territory of the post-Soviet space as a Russian-speaking author who wrote in the style of "literary fiction".
The author of "Psychosis" (the first published story of Stern) was born in 1947. He celebrated his birthday on February 14.

A native of Kiev, he was born at the very beginning of Valentine's Day - at 00:30 hours, during the Stalinist reform. This historic event, in his opinion, affected his future destiny - there was always not enough money.
About seventeen years of his life, Stern Boris Gedalevich spent in Odessa, where he lived, studied and worked.
Stern's professional career began after his graduation from the Odessa University (Faculty of Philology). One of the first professions, mastered by Boris Gedalevich, is an artist in the cinema.

After visiting the festival of fans of fiction EUROCON (held in the Romanian city of Timisoara) in 1994, Stern Boris Gedalievich was awarded the title of the best science fiction writer in Europe (previously only Strugatsky brothers and Stanislav Lem).

Lukin. In the same year, the book "Tales of the Snake of Gorynych" was published - a collection of works included in the eponymous cycle, supplemented by Stern's correspondence with B. Strugatsky and the last interview of Boris Stern.
"Adventures of Bel Amor" with a preface by Boris Strugatsky and Boris Stern's autobiography were reprinted in the same 2002. In this book also entered never published novel "Forward, stables!".

Interesting details
When the writer was still a youth, the Odessa gypsy woman, who "traded" in the Moldovan region, guessed him a short life - up to 63 years. Such a "forecast", from the words of Stern himself, completely satisfied him. Since then, the writer no longer turned to fortune-tellers, but he knew that in 2010 he would have to "collect things". However, death overtook him much earlier - in 1998.
