Kharitonov Sergey Was born on August 18, 1980 in the Arkhangelsk Region, Plesetsk. His family was quite athletic. My father was engaged in boxing, football and jogging. First successes

In 1997, the athlete became a cadet of the Ryazan Higher Airborne Command School. Throughout the training period, he was a full-fledged and permanent captain of the airborne team for hand-to-hand combat.

The beginning of a professional career

At the DREAM tournament, Sergei defeats American Jimmy Ambrits. But already in the next duel Kharitonov, unfortunately for many of his fans, is breaking his teeth about another US citizen Jeff Monson. After this battle the Russian takes a rather long one and a half year pause.

Return to battle

Again in MMA Kharitonov returns at the end of 2010, having won a battle with Japanese Tatsui Mizuno in the Dynamite-2010 tournament.

One of the most significant victories of Kharitonov in his career as a fighter can be considered as one over Andrei Orlovsky in the Strikeforce promotion, which took place in 2011 in the United States in the framework of the Grand Prix.

Sergei Kharitonov, whose last fight for today dates from July 3, 2015, often prefers boxing technique in his fights. In addition, Kharitonov is characterized by perseverance and aggressiveness, he is never afraid to enter into a trade with rivals. In the bouts of MMA, Sergei does not neglect the "dirty" technique, coming in with a rival to the clinch, firmly holding him and causing him blows.
