Reactive furnaces have become popular not so long ago. In addition, not everyone knows about the merits of such a heating system. It is worth noting that they are referred to energy-efficient stoves. The name of such heating systems is due to reactive processes based on heat exchange with significant temperature differences. At the same time, thrust arises in the reactive furnace. A similar phenomenon is described in the course of basic physics. And this is thanks to the work without failures.

The design of the "Raketa"

The reactive furnace is always equipped with a knee, the angle of which is not more than ninety degrees. This is the main feature of this model. In other words, the chimney in relation to the bottom of the furnace is located at an acute or a right angle. In this case, the furnace must be equipped with an air duct. It is usually placed through the wall with a furnace.

Advantages of reactive furnaces and the principle of their operation

Before the reactive furnace is erected by one's own hands, it is worthwhile to understand the principle of its operation and evaluate the merits. The main difference of this design is that the concentration of temperature occurs precisely in the flow of air, which is constantly in motion, and not in the furnace. In this case, continuous traction occurs in the knee - in the place of heating. Air is supplied through the air duct with oxygen for combustion, and in the furnace it receives a sufficient amount of thermal energy. In this case, conventional wood can be used as fuel. In places where the temperature difference is observed, thermal energy is given. Thus, the thrust is constantly maintained.

A constant-mode jet furnace does not require a special adjustment of the air supply. After all, the natural balance of all processes provides the traction necessary for strength. In other words, the one that is required to maintain the desired temperature in the furnace. As for the output of all exhaust gases, this process also proceeds naturally, with the help of the already heated air pressure. It is for this reason that the reactive furnace is built with a low chimney.

The first stage of construction: flows only in pure form

A reactive furnace, the scheme of which is not so complicated, consists of several important elements. One of them is the knee. To make it, you can weld two pipes at right angles. In diameter, these parts must be at least fifteen centimeters. At the same time, the ratio 1 to 2 must be observed. As a result, a finished furnace with a branch pipe of the chimney should be obtained. The short part of the knee should be horizontal, and the long one - vertical. If the pipe to build a fire, the heat will go up.

To organize the supply of secondary air, you can use one of the primitive options. For this, a metal sheet should be installed on the brackets inside the furnace. This will remove the focus from the air duct. But the air that will pass through it, in the end will always be in the corner of the knee. This is what makes it possible to call it secondary. To reactive furnace, made by hand, was more functional, you can weld to the finished device legs, and on the upper channel to install a grate for a frying pan.

The second stage of construction: a rocket launcher

The basis is the construction constructed in the first stage. To it it is necessary to add one more important element - a horizontal site. The rectangular cross-section of the channels is much more convenient in terms of operation than the pipes. The reactive furnace, the drawings of which allow for more accurate representation of the entire structure, may have different structures. In this case, the duct can be positioned arbitrarily. However, it is worth observing one of the rules. In any case, air must pass through the duct. To do this, you can use the bottom wall of the plate on the ribs, parallel to the side walls of the loading hatch or "brushes".

After that, the steel chimney joins the knee. Then you can install the roof. It is very difficult to describe exactly this construction. After all, for its production usually use all sorts of improvised materials. Often, a reactive furnace is produced from a gas cylinder. The main thing is that the principle of flow formation should be implemented.

The third stage of construction: a structure with a vertical heat exchanger

This idea consists in creating a heat exchanger made of steel with sufficiently thick walls precisely in the way of the passage of heat flows. The element constructed in the second stage needs to be increased in size. To do this, install an empty tank instead of a pipe running vertically, which will be used for dry heat transfer. In this case, a gas cylinder is ideal.

The reaction furnace must be constructed in such a way that the horizontal element is coaxial with the duct of the chimney. This moment is very important. In this case, the furnace - a horizontal element - can be made in several variants. This can be a box, a pipe or a furnace body. If this part has sufficient dimensions, it can be used as a pre-heat exchanger.

That the reactive furnace, which scheme is presented above, burned continuously up to 4 hours, it is necessary to increase the size of the fuel compartment in size. In height, this element can be up to 60 centimeters. In this case, the loading of logs should be vertical. In such a situation, the burning of raw materials will occur in the lower part. The logs will gradually burn out and fall below their own weight.

The Shirokov reactive furnace is quite simple in design. Primary air is usually supplied through a door located in the furnace area, and secondary air through a channel or hole on the knee.

Fourth stage of construction: installation of an injector

At this stage it is necessary to equip the product with a separate channel, through which oxygen will flow during the burn-out phase of the fuel. This requires a pipe with a diameter of 1.2-1.5 centimeters, preferably curved in the form of the channel itself, obtained from individual elements of the structure. On the one hand, you should install a plug and make in one of the walls up to eight holes with a diameter of six millimeters. The site with holes in the length should be no more than 100 millimeters. The finished pipe must be installed in such a way that it passes through the entire system. In this case, the edge with the plug must reach the point where the flame still suffices. As for the open side, it should be in the cold part of the structure and have an influx of fresh air. Metal when heated will create the necessary traction.

The fifth stage of construction: installation of turbo-supercharging

At this stage, the reactive furnace is not yet complete. An air pump must be connected to the injector. For these purposes, you can use a normal old vacuum cleaner. In this case, the injector must have sufficient capacity. After the pump is turned on, not only will the fresh air flow increase, but additional overpressure will be created . In this case, the thrust will increase proportionally to the power supplied. This process will be provided by increasing the temperature in the heat exchanger.

It is worth noting that this method has been known for a long time. It was used by masters. At the same time, the functions of the air pump were carried out by special blacksmith's fur.

If the reactive furnace has interested you, and you decided to install it in the house, remember a few basic rules. First of all, every detail in the system must be harmonious. Each fragment of the structure must be balanced. Otherwise, there will be overheating, which will eventually lead to burn-out of metal parts.
