Scars on the face: types, causes of appearance and ways of removal

In nature, there are no ideal individuals. Everyone has a defect, without exception. One incorrectly pronounces words, another has too big ears, and the third is not happy with his weight. All the deviations in the body are defects. You can not pay attention to them, but you can make efforts and try to correct it.

Sometimes life presents surprises to us, and defects arise where they never existed. To one of these blows of fate can be attributed scars on the face. Men mostly do not pay much attention to them, but for women this is a real tragedy. There are such scars for various reasons:

  1. Acne.
  2. Burns.
  3. Injuries (cuts or other skin lesions).

In any case, these ugly marks significantly spoil the appearance and create a lot of problems. Any person will feel insecure if he knows that his face, as they say, "leaves much to be desired."

The problem of removing scars on the face has long worried cosmeticians around the world. But in order to fight with any disease, you first need to classify it, and then analyze possible ways of treating it. All known scars in medicine can be divided into 4 types:

  1. Ordinary scars or normotrophic, when the healing of the injury site was normal, and connective tissue took root at the level of the overall skin.
  2. Retracted scars or atrophic, when the lesion after healing is significantly lower than the surrounding layers of skin.
  3. Convex scars or hypertrophic, when a sharp reaction of the body to defeat led to the formation of a scar that rises noticeably above the rest of the surface.
  4. Sealed, cyanotic scars or keloid. They usually appear after a certain period of time and often more than the site of the lesion. Such scars constantly give a feeling of painful discomfort.

Having decided with a kind, it is possible to select a method of treatment. Cosmetology knows many ways of fighting, which can significantly reduce or completely remove the affected area. But such an extreme measure is not always necessary.

For example, scars after burns of an atrophic nature can be removed with the help of laser peeling. Under the action of the scorching ray, the connective tissue disappears, and the body, producing additional collagen, begins the healing process, restoring the skin on the liberated area. Sometimes in such cases, the procedure is used for scaling of the scars, when a special substance is injected under the skin, which compensates for the lack of skin.

In the case of hypertrophic or conventional scars, chemical or mechanical peeling is more often used. Acne scars are excellently removed by chemical means by treating the surface of the lesion with salicylic acid. After dissolution and evaporation of coarsened tissue, the skin is restored, and there is not even a trace left of the defect.

Scars on the face create a lot of problems. They are not so easy to disguise as on other parts of the body. Sometimes we, without noticing ourselves, contribute to the appearance of these unsightly scars. The appearance of blackheads causes the skin to suffer, if you do not get rid of this "infection" in time, then eventually exhausted, exhausted skin is exposed to the strongest inflammation. The result of repeated exposure to such inflammation is scarring on the face.

To prevent this from happening, you need to react in time to every inflammatory process and do not forget about prevention. It does not mean to wash several times a day and rub the skin to pain. It must be remembered that the human skin needs a certain amount of vitamins and fat. Deprived of one or the other, it becomes unprotected and easily exposed to negative external influences. The result of this effect is scars on the face. And it is also worth remembering that it is better to warn any disease than to treat it for a long time.
