Childhood

The future writer Valyaev Sergey was born in the spring of 1954 in the small Ukrainian city of Melitopol, a city of regional significance located on the territory of the Zaporozhye region. Youth

However, Sergei did not immediately choose his own career. For some time he studied and worked in another direction, but realizing his true vocation, as soon as the opportunity arose, the young man radically changed his life-he moved to the capital of the USSR at the time and entered the Literary Institute, named after Maxim Gorky. It was one of the largest literary educational institutions in the world. Admission to the Institute was carried out on the basis of creative competition (evaluation of own poetic or prose works of entrants), as well as on the results of examinations (language, literature, history).

At the age of twenty-six, Valyaev Sergey graduated from this higher educational institution in the "rank" of a literary creativity specialist. In the same year, the first work of a novice writer was printed.

Literary Creativity

This work had a bright mysterious name - "Swings the devil" - and was published in the magazine "Youth", number one. And this means that it was read by a huge number of residents of the country. At that time, the magazine "Youth" - illustrated literary and artistic periodical, was the most famous and popular, bearing a liberal outlook. The leaders of the journal were distinguished by their pleasant progressiveness and heightened interest in public life and the world around them.

Fame for Sergei Ivanovich as a master of the highly topical detective genre came in the mid-1990s. At the age of thirty-seven, the master of the detective genre tried himself in a new role, declaring himself to all Russian cinema. Valyaev Sergey is a gifted and original scriptwriter. Valyaev Sergey, whose filmography originates in an uneasy and dramatic year of 1991, began his triumphal ascent in the film industry with two paintings at once: "The Bodyguard" and "The Crazy Baba" - won tremendous popularity and universal recognition.
