Rinse - chlorhexidine

So, to begin, perhaps, it follows from what it is - chlorhexidine, and also why it is needed and in what branches of medicine is applied? Chlorhexidine (it is rinsed almost anywhere in the human body, from simple scratches on the knee of an irrepressible child and ending with intimate parts of the body of an adult) is a unique solution with which to process the wound and get an unrivaled result. The wound is well cicatrized, that is, scar is almost invisible, healing is many times faster, and there can be no complications - chlorhexidine completely "eradicates" all dirt and infection from an open wound. It is so good that they are often washed with wounds after surgery, and not in the first two or three days, but the entire postoperative period. It was discovered for a long time, but it was so widely used in medicine much later than its discovery (about fifteen to twenty years ago).

It was actively applied in the following branches of medicine:

- Urology (washing of the urethra without anesthesia, as well as bladder rinsing under full anesthesia, is done if any infection has started in the urinary duct or bladder);
- surgery (washing of seams from serious and superficial surgeries and scars from abscesses and mastitis);
- gynecology (wash the vagina, clean the cervix, and sometimes do douching with chlorhexidine in diseases such as thrush, fungi and other such serious infections that are sexually transmitted);
- otolaryngology (washed nose, throat, sometimes ears, but in rare cases).

How is the rinse done (chlorhexidine you buy at the pharmacy and do what is indicated below), if you need to do it at home?

Your attention is given a detailed description of how to do rinsing (chlorhexidine - basic wash solution) at home in one place or another.

Rinse with chlorhexidine urethra of the male penis is done as follows: a solution vial is taken into the hands, the tip of it is inserted into the urethra (and the man should wash the genitals with warm water with baby soap before rinsing) and several milliliters of solution are put into the canal. The cap should be removed, and the penis should be held for about five minutes in such a way that the liquid does not drain, then just release the liquid and the body wipe with a tissue, preferably it should be dry.

If a gynecologist prescribed rinsing for you (chlorhexidine in gynecology is a very important solution with which you can reduce fungal diseases, vaginal inflammations, and also use it as a rinse after unprotected intercourse), then you need to do it as follows. Sit on the edge of the bath so that the legs are in the bath itself, then take a solution vial, insert its tip into the vagina and release about eighty milliliters of solution. You should try to sit for two or three minutes in such a way that chlorhexidine does not flow out, then squat, allow the solution to flow out and rinse the external genitals with warm water and baby soap.

If you have a wound somewhere, and you need to rinse it (chlorhexidine in this case will act like hydrogen peroxide), then simply wet the kerchief or cotton wool with a solution and gently apply to the wound, you can also simply pour it with chlorhexidine, then wipe with a tissue.

In other cases it is impossible to make yourself a rinse (chlorhexidine is a liquid solution that can be badly damaged if you try to wash your inner ears, nose and throat yourself), but if you need to wash your nose, the doctor will send you to a specialized room.
