Symptoms of dysbiosis

Dysbacteriosis is a condition during which changes occur in the intestinal microflora . The process is accompanied by a decrease in the number of beneficial bacteria, which, in turn, provokes the development of pathogenic microorganisms.

Practically every person once in his life showed signs of dysbiosis. As practice shows, about 90% of people identified them at home. However, most symptoms of dysbacteriosis are not felt, and many even do not know that they have any problems with the intestines.

The first stage of the disease is characterized by a moderate decrease in the number of obligate microorganisms. As a rule, signs of a dysbacteriosis at the initial stage are not shown. Moreover, a favorable combination of circumstances can contribute to the self- recovery of the intestinal microflora.

In the event that even slight signs of dysbiosis (decreased appetite, nausea, vomiting, unpleasant taste in the mouth, greenish tinge, bloating or constipation) are manifested, the disease has passed to the second stage. At the same time there is a critical decrease in the number of lacto- and bifidobacteria, an increase in the population of pathogenic microorganisms.

The third stage of the development of the disease is characterized by a chronic course. This causes inflammation of the intestinal walls as a result of the activity of pathogenic microorganisms. The analysis of feces reveals undigested food.

With the transition to the fourth stage of the disease, almost absolute dominance of pathogenic microorganisms occurs.

In the absence of treatment and at this stage, the ailment provokes a significant depletion of the body, anemia and vitamin deficiency. It should be noted that in most cases, signs of dysbiosis in adults that are not eliminated in time lead to severe intestinal infections.

As a rule, the disease is accompanied by general symptoms, expressed in eructations, heartburn, odor from the mouth, tenderness in the abdomen. In addition, the body can exhibit allergic reactions when taking, at first glance, harmless foods, the temperature can rise. It should be noted that these symptoms are typical for many gastrointestinal disorders, but in most cases they are the result of dysbiosis.

Most of the disease affects digestion. In view of the fact that food is split first by intestinal bacteria, and then absorbed, without microorganisms, digestion does not occur. As a result, the body does not take nutrients and rejects them. Thus, there is diarrhea, vomiting.

The development of dysbacteriosis, in the first place, affects the state of local immunity. With the course of the disease, the risk of allergies, exacerbation of chronic ailments, penetration of viral infections increases. In many cases, even in the initial stage, the disturbance of the intestinal microflora is expressed in increased fatigue, apathy, insomnia. It should also be noted that the more pronounced the disorders, the weaker becomes immunity.

The development of the disease can be triggered by various factors. The most common ones are:

- taking antibiotics;

- eating disorders;

- Smoking;

- the influence of external causes;

- the use of alcohol;

- immunodeficiency;

- oncological diseases.

However, dysbacteriosis can develop not only in the intestine. At least once in life, every woman encounters a balance disorder in the vaginal microflora. This disease can be eliminated on its own, without any therapy. However, this does not always happen. Therefore, the first manifestations of the disease should urgently consult a doctor.

Often, when the dysbacteriosis of the vagina develops , there are no symptoms. However, in half the cases, women complain of copious seborrhoeic discharge with the characteristic smell of foul fish.
