Removal of warts

Warts are considered a viral disease. Skin inelastic growths are caused by six dozen different similar viruses.

The most common benign benign (simple), usually rounded, with a diameter of up to 10 mm. Dangers do not represent and rarely cause discomfort, but their appearance causes unpleasant impressions.

Another type is plantar warts. They grow on the feet (on the sole), under the pressure of weight, they flatten and harden. Pretty painful. When cutting, bloody points appear (this distinguishes them from so-called corns and calluses).

The filiform warts look like narrow and long growths. Often found on the face and neck.

Warts flat (juvenile) are mainly teenagers. Outwardly they look like yellowish or brownish nodules. Appear after scratching.

"Hanging" warts resemble a tiny mushroom (usually body color) with a thin, like a thread, a leg and a rounded cap. Discomfort does not cause. Appear in any part of the body, but mostly on the neck and head.

Genital warts (condylomas) "love" moist warm areas of the body, appearing mainly on the genitals (regardless of sex). Look like pink bubbles. Grow quickly. A narrow leg is sometimes formed at the base.

The virus, once ingested, remains in it forever. Most people, being a carrier of the virus, do not even know it. He can be "awakened" by any emotional outburst, mechanical damage to the skin, and sometimes - even by the fear of the appearance of a wart. And the growths - right here ...

Predisposing factors are primarily sweating, the presence of microtraumas, nervous exhaustion, glitches in the immune system.

Sometimes the warts disappear without interference. Some warts remain for life. Treatment of the virus itself, unfortunately, will not bring positive results, so it remains to struggle only with its manifestations.

Wart removal is possible in two ways: independently (folk methods) and surgically (in clinics and salons).

Folk methods (the use of celandine, garlic, magnesia, concentrated acids, threading, etc.) sometimes really help to get rid of even small, but still disfiguring growths. However, such methods always involve a risk: some warts can grow again, and some, even worse, can turn out to be malignant.

Therefore, before deciding to remove the warts, take a survey. If the outgrowth appeared not malignant, there will be no contraindications to removal. The most effective methods today are diathermocoagulation (cauterization) and laser therapy (laser removal of warts). The latter method is the most painless and safe. In this way, even the removal of warts in children is possible.

The operation lasts only a couple of minutes. The procedure is not only painless, but also completely sterile, since the skin does not come into contact with surgical instruments, which means that infection is impossible in principle. Bleeding does not occur. Very rarely possible complications: the appearance of small dimples, scars, scars. However, over time, almost all cosmetic defects disappear (or become barely noticeable). It depends mainly on the depth of the "root" of the wart and the complexity of the operation.

The method has contraindications:

  • immunodeficiency;
  • pregnancy;
  • diabetes;
  • Oncological diseases;
  • Herpetic rashes.

Before and after the procedure, sunburn is contraindicated.

The decision on the possibility of removing neoplasms is taken only by a doctor and only after a thorough examination (individually). In case of detection of malignant lesions, additional consultation of the oncologist is required.
