The "Mojito" cocktail (a non-alcoholic recipe described below) is especially popular in the summer heat, as it is served with ice, and it perfectly quenches thirst and refreshes. But you can cook it at any time of the year, to a festive table, for example, or simply to pamper your loved ones. The recipe for non-alcoholic mojito at home exists in several versions: in classical versions, except for mint, lime and soda, use only ice and sugar, as well as various fruit additives (raspberries, strawberries, apples, kiwi or grapefruit).

Traditional way of cooking

From the given quantity of ingredients, 1 serving of the beverage is obtained. So to prepare more, their volume should simply be increased, keeping the proportions. The recipe for non-alcoholic mojito at home is very simple, but it is extremely important that there is a supply of ice in the freezer.

On a glass of "Sprite" or another lemon carbonated drink, you need to take 1 lime, half a pint of mint, a tablespoon of brown sugar (you can take the usual or do without it at all) and quite a lot of crushed ice (they need to fill a glass with 2/3 of the volume) .

Before preparing the drink, it is also recommended to cool the glasses in which it will be served. In them on the bottom it is necessary to put washed mint leaves, add sugar (if it is used), and also half of lime, cut by slices or cubes. Then the contents of the glass should be well mashed pestle (or spoon). Then there is added crushed ice, the remaining lime (one slice is needed for decoration), pour "Sprite" and serve. In a glass necessarily place a tube for cocktails (it is possible 2). Decorate all to your liking. Instead of "Sprite" you can also use tonic or sparkling mineral water. In the first case, the drink will turn out to be bitter, and in the second it will bring more benefit.

Recipe for non-alcoholic mojito at home with kiwi fruit

In addition to basic, there are other ways of making a drink. One of the most popular is the variant with kiwi, as it contains many useful substances, and its taste has a very positive effect on the final result.

Ingredients for 1 serving will be the same as in the previous recipe (only lime will be enough and half), and still need to take 1 ripe kiwi. It is ground to a puree state with a blender, adding a little mint and sugar. Then put the remaining mint and lime into the cooled glass, knead it all with a pestle, pour the mixture from the blender, add ice and pour in tonic or "Sprite".

Recipe for non-alcoholic mojito at home with strawberries or raspberries

This version of the drink is most relevant for the summer period, when there are lots of fresh berries in the garden and on the beds. However, in winter you can replace them with frozen ones and also indulge yourself with a tasty and useful treat. Before you make a non-alcoholic cocktail "Mojito", the berries must be thawed and drained of excess liquid. On a half of the lime, take 10 mint leaves and the same raspberries (strawberry is enough 5 pieces), a teaspoon of brown sugar, 100 ml of tonic and crushed ice to fill the glass almost to the top.

All solid ingredients, except ice, should be cut and put in a glass, grind the paste well with a pestle or spoon, add ice and pour the tonic. Thanks to berries, the drink acquires a pleasant bright shade and a delicate aroma. You can decorate it with lime, mint or berry.
