Protection of water resources

"Protection and rational use of water resources" is a generally accepted concept, implying a reduction in water consumption, which can be used not only in industry but also for agrarian purposes.

Protection of water resources depends on several conditions:

1) Reduction of water consumption.
2) Optimized resource management system.

From this we can conclude that the protection of water resources directly depends on their rational use.

Water is renewed, but very slowly, so the cost of water should be equal to the amount of fluid that people use. If the balance is violated, then not only the existence of mankind, but also flora and fauna, is threatened.

The scheme is simple: if the lake dries, then all the fish die. Hydropower plants, dams that are built where it is possible, can disrupt the natural habitat of species that are on the verge of extinction. Subsequently, a chain of natural selection will be launched. Without some species of plants, some species of fish and bacteria will die, without fish, some species of birds that have eaten only by it will disappear, and without this species of birds, this or that species of predators will die out. This situation will be impossible to solve, and it will be impossible to recreate the lost copies. Therefore, one should think three times before spending water on simple amusements.

Protection of water resources can reduce the need for liquids, thus not needing a huge amount of water resources. In other words, this means that most of the hydroelectric power stations (HES) will not be needed at all.

How is the integrated use and protection of water resources carried out? This is a question that was often brought to international consideration. Social services came up with a variety of advertising slogans, many parades and marathons took place under the slogan "Today we saved the water, tomorrow it will save us." Here are just good and lasting results it did not bring.

Naturally, everywhere there were activists who spent less water, but 10-20% is nothing against 80-90% of the population.

The easiest way to save water at home is to take a bath instead of a shower, turn off the tap while brushing your teeth, do not wait for the mountain of dishes to accumulate in the washbasin, and wash one or two plates right after eating. First, it will save money, and secondly, water that can be used for other purposes. Therefore, it is not only profitable, but also beneficial for the country.

The same problem can be considered at the business level. There are many services that spend less or do not use water at all. For example, car washes, infrared taps, ultraviolet, which purifies wastewater, or steam sterilizers, which are actively used in many medical institutions. All this is worthy of attention. The protection of water resources not only of one state, but of the whole world depends on it directly.

In some countries, as in America, there are such cities in which the dry climate prevails. They significantly reduce the use of water resources, because the population rarely produces crops on its territory, soils do not require additional moisture.

Hence the conclusion suggests that the protection of water resources is not an easy task. Do not think that everything depends on the government, which tries to cash in on tariffs for cold and hot water. First of all, it is necessary to monitor what water is spent in the house and minimize its loss, as rational use and protection of water resources are equivalent concepts. This is important not only for a specific continent, but for all the inhabitants of the planet Earth, which share one World Ocean among themselves. It is also worth remembering that sea water is not very strong and you will get drunk, so do not pollute rivers and lakes. Maybe it's where the water comes from.
