Problems of modern youth: specifics and features

Modern Russia is quite a specific country, in which there has been a sharp change in the main vector of development. It's no secret that most of all changes in the political and social spheres affect those who have not yet had time to decide in life, in whom there is still no solid core laid by education and education, that is, the youngest.

The problems of modern youth are very different from those that were at their parents' age. And differ in all aspects - and in the moral, and in the social, and in the economic. The striking differences of their life from the life of the previous generation often made it impossible for a constructive dialogue and, even more so, the exchange of experiences between generations - too different experiences.

Moral problems of modern youth, according to psychologists, are due to two main difficulties: laziness and lack of purpose. Many parents, after going through hard times of lack of money and "initial accumulation of capital", try to make sure that their child does not need anything. And they get it - the younger generation really does not need anything - neither in money, nor in the family, nor in love. Already by the end of the school most of them have everything they can dream about (especially for children from megacities - it is more difficult to reach the province of financial well-being), and they just have to live life without thought. Morality as such is of little interest to them - they have completely different things in their heads, they simply do not think about it. And parents who have devoted their whole lives to ensure that their child was the best, understand with horror that they have missed the main thing - they did not teach him to love, respect and appreciate friends, parents, loved ones.

Social problems of modern youth are due primarily to the fact that society, which today is a consumer society, confronts the boys with one task - to have as much money as possible. But at the same time everything that happens around teaches the growing generation solely that money does not need to be earned - there are a lot of other ways to get them, much easier and simple. Therefore, in the eyes of young people, social institutions that have significance for their ancestors lose their value. School, education, family and even the state - do not cost anything, because the meaning of life is not at all in them. Such problems of youth in modern society inevitably lead to gradual degradation of social and moral norms, loss of the connection between generations and a primitive existence devoid of spiritual component.

The financial problems of modern youth are due to the lack of a clear state policy in this area. The level of scholarships and salaries for beginner specialists to date is such that it is not necessary to talk about any worthy existence. At the same time, subsequent employment is very problematic due to the fact that higher education has long been producing specialists with an overabundance, and there are no vacancies for them in the specialty. At the same time, in cities with a developed industry, there is a clear deficit of professionals working in the specialties, but there are no people wishing to take these places among the youth.

Also, many of the problems of modern youth are caused by the information field in which they live. Internet and television do not set themselves the task of educating a new generation, their main goal is entertainment. And most of these entertainments are thoughtless and devoid of any meaning. This is another factor that provokes degradation of the younger generation. In other words, the whole surrounding reality, under the influence of which a young person is formed, has a direct effect on it, not constructively, but destructively, which leads to the emergence of a whole series of problems and difficulties.
