Problems in the European Market

Good afternoon, dear readers! Today we want to talk with you about one of the most current auto-parts lately.

The European automotive industry beats the alarm - car sales for the past year decreased by 10% and amounted to slightly more than 920,000 units. The only European manufacturer, which managed to maintain its starting position, is BMW. The rest announce declines in sales to 28%. But against this background, increased their turnover Mazda, Hyndai and Jaguar Land Rover.

Sales of cars in Europe are falling for the second year in a row. What is it: the test drive of the European economy or the decline of the usual automotive market? And what does this promise for Russia and for us in particular?

On the markets the situation is not even better. Growth is observed only in Foggy Albion - Britain added 11% in this indicator over the past year. The German market fell by 3.5%. At all other sites, the situation is much more deplorable - a decrease in sales to 20%. The antitriders are Spanish, Italian and French markets.
What can be interesting in all this for ordinary Russians? Yes, many things. Let's start with the simple - most likely in their home markets, the company will take measures to regulate prices and car kits. New models should appear in low price segments. Our compatriots engaged in the purchase and sale of European cars (driving them from the western factory to Russia) will be able to earn on it not bad money. And of course, we will have more choice when buying quality European cars.
As for the manufacturers themselves, they must pay close attention to the economies of developing countries in order to reduce costs. As Russia is such, it is to be expected that the number of factories of European automakers in the territory of our country will soon increase. There are 3 advantages to this. First, the increase in jobs. Secondly, most likely, there will be
Transferred more complex technological processes to plants in our country. This will require the training of new skills of a large number of workers and, as a result, the upgrading of qualified personnel among Russian engineers. Well, the third - most likely in our market will be a greater range (again - in the lowest price segment) of cars assembled at Russian plants.
Of course, the behavior of Russian auto giants, such as AvtoVAZ, is of interest. If in our market there will be a new Mercedes, which costs less than a new Lada - hardly anyone will buy the latter. Therefore, the Russian concern will have to harden up, improving both the quality of the cars themselves and optimizing production.
In any case, ordinary citizens of our country should only benefit from all this. Although who knows? It is known that everything is possible in Russia. And do not be surprised if the price for customs clearance of a foreign car or, say, there will be an unofficial ban on the sale of cheap European cars in Russian car dealers will suddenly rise. We will see. Although we really hope that nothing like this will happen and we all soon will be able to buy a low-cost, high-quality car. After all, as one German friend of mine says: "In Germany, Mercedes is a machine of pensioners, and in Russia - of deputies."
