Poet Yulia Drunina: biography, creativity. Poems about love and war

Drunina Yulia Vladimirovna is a Russian poetess who, throughout her creative career, carried the theme of war in her works. She was born in 1924. Participated in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945. For some time she was a deputy of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR. She died in 1991.

Of course, dry facts are not enough to understand what kind of woman - Julia Drunina. Her biography is full of tragic stories, and the last love is still composed of poems and films. Therefore, everything in order.

Childhood

On May 10, 1924, a girl appeared in the Moscow maternity hospital, who was named Julia. She was born in an intelligent family: my father taught history at a Moscow school, and my mother worked there as a librarian. Lived extremely poorly, huddled in a small communal room.

Despite everything, my father instilled in Yulia a love for books and reading. Favorite authors already in the early days were the French writer Alexander Dumas and the Soviet writer Lydia Charskaya. In their books, unlike the classics, which the father strongly recommended for reading, very bright, very colorful, truthfully and vitally described many human emotions - fear and courage, love and hate, separation, betrayal and many others.

Julia, like many teenagers, believed that in life there is nothing impossible, that life is given in order to know all the unknown and unravel all that is unsolved - to this throughout the whole life dragon Drunin. Poems began to write in early childhood. Already in 1930, when she was 6 years old, she prepared a poem, which she won in the competition dedicated to the Civil War.

"We were sitting next to the school desk ..."

This was the first poem by Drunina, which was published in the Teacher's Newspaper, and also read on the radio. Parents did not believe in her daughter's success. My father, Vladimir Drunin, tried his hand at this activity, wrote several works, but did not achieve much success. During his studies, Drunina's poems were repeatedly published in the school wall newspaper. At this time, mostly Julia Drunina wrote poems about love, with beautiful stories, with knights, with princes, but often took up topics and notes needed for school activities. Over time, the poet's fame entrenched the girl, and Julia did not want to lose her at all. So, year after year there were school days, and then suddenly a war broke out. Yulia Drunina passed a huge test. Her biography was filled with new interesting facts, heroic deeds, medals, orders.

Youth and War

June 22, 1941 thousands of young men and girls said goodbye to the school and met the school company dawn, including Julia. No one could even imagine that this morning would be fatal for the entire Soviet people. At 5 am the first explosions were heard, announcements of a sudden offensive of the troops were heard on the radio. A mass appeal to the ranks of the Soviet army was immediately launched.

Yulia Drunina, like many girls of the time, joined the front line as a volunteer at the front. The young girl was initially not allowed to the places of military operations. Being in the rear, she passed a course of nurses. For some time she worked in the District Red Cross Society.

At the end of the summer of 1941, German troops launched an active offensive against Moscow, Drunin was sent to the area of the city of Mozhaisk for the construction of defensive shelters. Here, during an attack from the air, she was thrown from her team, and she "nailed" to a group of young fighters who needed a nurse. It was during this period that Julia falls in love for the first time. Until now, neither the name nor patronymic of this man is known. In all the works he was just a Combat. For a long time Julia Drunina wrote poems about love for him, about his heroic deeds and his steel character. Unfortunately, their acquaintance was very short. The battalion commander and two other soldiers were blown up on the mine, Julia herself was seriously deafened.

In the same 1941, when Drunina finally returned to her native Moscow, she was sent to Siberia together with her family. Julia did not want to sit in the rear, but still went. The reason was weighty: the health of his father, who at the very beginning of the war suffered a stroke. In 1942, after the second, Vladimir Drunin died in the arms of his daughter. After the funeral, Julia Drunina decided to leave for Khabarovsk and again to go to the front line.

In Khabarovsk she entered the School of Junior Aviation Professionals. Study was given hard. Soon it became known that girls who had completed their studies would not be allowed to fight, but would form only a spare female regiment. Julia Drunina was not ready for this. The biography related to the war does not end there just because she graduated from the nurses' course. The decision of the commander-in-chief was taken to the girls-nurses to the places of battles. So she got into the second Byelorussian front, in the sanitary department.

Getting to know Zinka

At this time there is a meeting of two girls-nurses, who were bound by friendship during a difficult time of war. Zinaida Samsonova is a senior sergeant of the medical service. Not only did she fearlessly take the wounded soldiers out of the battlefield, but also skillfully used machine guns and grenades. For all the time spent in the war, more than fifty Soviet soldiers were rescued by her hands and a dozen German soldiers were killed. But on January 27, 1944, during the offensive in the Gomel region, when trying to pull a wounded soldier by herself, she was killed by a German sniper bullet. She was only 19 years old. The poetess could not remain indifferent to this. "Zinka" by Julia Drunina is one of the most popular poems at the moment, there are lines about the death of a friend, the brave girl Zinaida Samsonova:

"Zinka led us into the attack ..."

We did not expect posthumous fame,

We wanted to live with glory.

... Why in bandages bloody

A light-skinned soldier lies? "

The severe wounding of Julia Drunina

In 1943, Julia was wounded in the battle: a fragment splintered from the projectile entered the neck, miraculously not touching the carotid artery, to which there were some 5 mm. Julia, as a strong fighter, did not attach proper importance to injury. Deciding that it was just a scratch, she wrapped her bandage around her neck and continued to serve as a nurse. Nobody said anything (and it was not until then that it was), she rescued fighters day after day, taking them on herself from fights, from battles. But one day Drunina lost consciousness - in herself came only on a hospital bed.

It was no longer possible to return to the hospital from the hospital. She was for some time commissioned for health reasons. Returning to Moscow, deciding to continue his studies, submits documents to the Literary Institute, but the thought of returning to the system does not drive Drunin away. Poems, by coincidence, did not pass the selection stage. The girl again returns to the front. This time it was determined in the 1038th self-propelled artillery regiment of the 3rd Baltic Front. In 1944, during one of the battles, she was shell-shocked. Thus ended her military service.

During these years she was awarded the title of sergeant of the medical service, she was awarded the Order of the Red Star and the medal "For Courage".

Left the war imprint and on creativity. During these years Julia Drunina wrote poems about war and death every free minute. Many of them entered the collections of military works.

Postwar Life

In 1944, Drunina decides to still attend classes at the Literary Institute. And this time she starts studying in the middle of the year and without entrance examinations. No one dares deny her. Attends classes in a pea jacket and tarpaulin boots. Julia Drunina writes poems about the war, in which each line is permeated with grief, deeds and courage. She did not carry her collections to the publishing house, she only occasionally asked one of her friends to grab her works too. Perhaps, therefore, the poet's fame for her came only after death.

A family

Among her classmates she meets a young guy named Nikolai, who, just like her, is considered unfit for military service. Some time the couple meets, and soon they register their marriage.

In 1946 a child was born in the family - the daughter of Julia Drunina and Nikolay Starshinov. Hassle with a small child took a lot of time. The strength of the young mother did not remain for study, or for poetry. There was no money in the house, and Julia did not know how to manage the farm: she even managed to have an elementary dinner badly.

Nikolai Starshinov after a long time shared his memories of culinary abilities of his wife: "One day," he said, she fed me a soup that was rather heavily salted and had a strange color. Only after the divorce Julia admitted to me that it was a scrap of potatoes in a uniform, welded by her mother. I admit that I did not eat more delicious soup. "

Nikolai and Yulia divorced in 1960.

last love

While still married, Julia meets the scriptwriter Alexei Kapler. Love between them broke out almost immediately, but Drunin struggled with this feeling for six years, trying to save the family. Yet love was stronger. Almost twenty years soul in the soul lived Julia and Alexei, there was no hindrance or difference in age, nor the hard fate of a Russian woman.

Now Julia Drunina devoted only poems about love to him - Alexei Kapler. In 1979, having failed to defeat the difficult stage of oncology, the husband dies. For Julia, this became an irreparable loss. She could not live without him.

The death of Julia Drunina

For a while, a Soviet woman, a great poet, tried to return to a full life, but this proved impossible. A fighter in life, Julia Drunina could not let go of herself, but she could not live and see how the country was crumbling.

I tried my hand at politics, trying to defend the rights of the participants in the Great Patriotic War, the rights of people who returned from the war in Afghanistan. But none of this happened. So not finding the point in life, she decides to commit suicide.

November 20, 1991 her body was found in the garage of her own house: she suffocated with the exhaust gases of the car. Her first husband, among the reasons that pushed Julia Drunin to such a desperate step, also called the fact that she did not want to grow old. She was frightened by old age and helplessness. Julia wanted to remain always young, but her illness and age, unfortunately, did not allow it. Thus ended the great war poetess Drunina Julia Vladimirovna. She was buried next to Alexei Kapler at the Starokrymsky cemetery.

The last poem

"I'm leaving, I do not have the strength.

(All the same baptized!) I pray

For such as you are - for the elect

Hold the Rus over the precipice.

But I'm afraid that you are powerless.

Because I choose death.

How does Russia fly under a slope,

I can not, I do not want to look! "

In her last work, she called the true cause of her death. And some time later the USSR was finally disintegrated.

Julia Drunina ... Biography of this woman will not leave anyone indifferent. Some condemn her for her departure from life, others are sympathetic to this decision, but everyone acknowledges that she left, leaving a part of her soul in her poems.

The most popular works: "Rags uncompressed rushes," "Do not meet with the first love", "Zinka" by Julia Drunina. They are still recited by schoolchildren and adult children by heart, which is confirmed by the fact that the life of a military woman, a famous poetess, has not been wasted.
