Analysis of "Sleep" Lermontov M.Yu.
During his short creative career, Mikhail Lermontov composed a lot of interesting works. In them he ridiculed his surroundings, opposed the autocracy and tyranny, shared his secret desires, sang the beauty of the world around him. In 1841, the poet wrote the poem "Dream", it refers to the late literary period of the writer and appeared shortly before his death. Mikhail Yurievich was just in the second exile in the Caucasus and as if he had a premonition of his death.
Contents of the poem "Dream"
Lermontov (analysis of the work confirms his fatality) in all colors described his death. Shortly before the duel, the poet met his friend Vladimir Odoyevsky, and he gave him a beautiful notebook, ordering her to return it, written in verse. So he wanted to support the writer, to strengthen his faith in his own strength. Mikhail Yuryevich seemed to hasten to fulfill the request of his comrade, he wrote poetry in an accelerated mode.
The analysis of Lermontov's Dream shows how painful and lonely he was. During this period, the poet mostly wrote sarcastic and poignant poems, in which he spoke negatively about the tsarist regime. Mikhail Yurievich understood that he would have to put up a cross on his military career, but as a writer he would not be allowed to prove himself. This work stands out among the rest of the undisguised bitterness, resentment and suffering, which experienced at that time M.Yu. Lermontov.
Coincidence or a prophetic gift?
The analysis of Lermontov's "Dream" makes one wonder whether the author knew about his immediate death or his verse is dedicated to an unknown soldier. Many contemporaries of the poet asserted that the poet had a prophetic gift, from time to time he dropped some strange phrases, which in the future were coming true. "Dream" is by no means the only work in which the writer rhymed predictions about his fate. Perhaps, Mikhail Yuryevich really could look into the other world, for good reason he was attracted to all the mystical, unusual, the writer was very anxious about the signs and signs of fate.
