"Phosphogliv forte"

With viral hepatitis (acute and chronic), fatty liver degeneration (hepatosis), drug, alcohol, toxic liver damage, liver cirrhosis, intoxication, psoriasis, neurodermatitis and eczema prescribe a drug that contains several active substances. These are phospholipids (300 mg), a lipoid of PPL-400 (400 mg) and sodium glycyrrhizinate (65 mg). The trade name of this drug is "Phosphogliv Fort". It is produced in the form of hard gelatin capsules, the body and the lid are colored brown. They contain a pasty oil mass with a specific faint odor, its color is light yellow or orange-brown. Auxiliary substances are ethanol, butylhydroxytoluene, corn oil or sunflower oil . The drug is included in the VED list, it is available on prescription.

"Phosphogliv forte" is a hepatoprotector with antiviral and immunomodulating action. To hepatoprotectors include pharmacological agents (only non-biologically active additives, since they are not considered medicinal products), capable of protecting liver cells from various diseases or injuries.

Dosage and treatment for adults and children (who are already 12 years or more) are prescribed by a doctor. Adults usually take up to 2 capsules 3 times a day. For children, the dosage is less: 1 capsule 3 times a day. The drug is consumed during meals by mouth (through the mouth), it must be taken with a liquid, a small amount. If there is hypokalemia, sodium and liquid retention, the dose of the drug is reduced or prescribed by the potassium-sparing diuretic - "Spironolactone" from 50 mg to 100 mg per day.

The components of the drug "Phosphogliv Forte" are easily absorbed in the intestines, and then through its walls enter the lungs, liver, skin, as well as other internal organs and tissues of the patient's body. Drug is delivered in the form of unchanged molecules or bioactive hydrolysis products, which are choline, fatty unsaturated acids, glycyrrhetic acid. Rarely, due to increased sensitivity to the ingredients of the drug, adverse reactions are observed in the form of dermatological reactions (skin rashes) disappearing after the abolition of "Phosphogliva". Sometimes, with an overdose of the drug, peripheral edema, hypokalemia, and increased blood pressure, the cause of such symptoms are the retention of sodium and fluid in the body.

The combined preparation "Phosphogliv Forte" is not recommended during pregnancy, during breastfeeding and in children under 12 years of age, as well as with increased sensitivity to the ingredients of the drug. It has hepatoprotective (protects liver cells from damage), membrane-stabilizing (does not allow to destroy cell membranes) and antiviral effect. The main component of the phospholipids that make up the drug is phosphatidylcholine. It restores the structure of intracellular and cellular membranes, has a cytoprotective effect. Also contributes to the normalization of protein and lipid metabolism, restores liver function to neutralize toxins, reduces the risk of liver cirrhosis and liver fibrosis.

Only according to the prescription of the doctor is allowed to take the drug "Phosphogliv." The description does not contain information on drug compatibility. The remedy is a domestic product developed by the IBMMS RAMS. In fact, this is an improved analogue of Essential forte, which is manufactured in Germany (Nattermann Internetional GmBH). If it is necessary to normalize liver function, the drug "Phosphogliv Fort" is quite effective. Reviews of the drug, however, contain information that it does not have an antiviral effect against hepatitis C.
