The relatively recent occurrence of grapes in Siberian gardens with good agrotechnics did not contribute to the accumulation of pathogens of diseases of this culture. Amateur vineyards did not need chemical protection.

But, imported from other regions and regions of a vine of different varieties, led to the emergence and spread of dangerous grape diseases. The most harmful of them is oidium - a fungal disease of grapes, the treatment of which begins immediately.

First discovered more than a century and a half ago in England, this grape disease spread rapidly around the world. Varieties that are resistant to oidium, in nature is very small. If on a young vine (most often at the base of the kidneys) there appears a white coating, passing to the entire shoot or has already turned yellowish or black (in which case the shoot appears charred, it dries up), know that this is an oidium - a disease of grapes. Treatment with fungicides is a sure way to destroy this attack. The plant should be treated immediately upon detection of such a plaque. The next stage of the development of the disease: on leaves, more often on the upper side, the fungus appears as a gray powdery coating, the leaf is covered with brown speckles and dries up. But the most dangerous is the defeat of grapes, on which the parasite can multiply from the moment of their ovaries to maturation. The brush is pricked with a greasy gray coating, the berries are covered first with specks, wrinkled and dry. If the berries are in the ripening stage, then there is a wet rot. The skin on the grapes splits and the seeds stick out. There are few sugars in the berries, maturation does not occur. When the oedium is severely affected, the grapes are not suitable for use. Another fungus is gray rot, but it affects only berries, which is typical for this disease of grapes. Measures to combat mushroom ailments

Oidium is a terrible disease of grapes. Treatment of planting at the first sign can begin with the use of colloidal sulfur. It is poorly soluble in water, so practice spraying the drug in the morning in the windless warm weather after the drying of the green part of the vine. The sulfur is mixed with well-sieved wood ash in a 3: 1 ratio. At the first manifestations of oidium spraying with a solution of potassium permanganate of slightly pink color, a solution of baking soda with a concentration of 0.5% is used. But if this grape disease is rampant already, treatment without fungicides is unlikely to be successful.

For use in amateur vineyards and gardens in order to combat fungal diseases, such preparations with a fungicidal component as "Albit", "Abiga-peak", "Planrys", "Integral" are allowed. Processing of grapes from diseases by these means is carried out during the growing season and should be carried out strictly according to the instructions. The most effective is the preparation "Integral" - a single spray of the vineyard, and other means need to be carried out from 5 to 8 treatments.
