Oenogram or anemone

An oak woodworm is the so-called plant of the family Lyutikov with delicate flowers. They even wiggle from a slight breeze, because their stems are very thin, and sepals are absent. Plants bloom very early in the spring. Anemone, whose photo, like the snowdrops, is most often associated with the arrival of heat, appears immediately after the end of severe cold.

Legend

The oak woodworm, according to the biblical tradition, was created by God at the time of the expulsion from the paradise of Adam and Eve. The wrath of the Almighty resulted in a fierce cold, which came in paradise. On the shoulders of the ancient people snow fell, and God through grace turned snowflakes into tender white flowers. Since then, the oak-tree anemone is a symbol of the coming spring, hopes of easing a heavy share. Anemones are very common in Belarus - there these flowers are even called snowdrops. The latter do not grow in this country.

Anemone in nature

In natural conditions, these flowers grow in the undergrowth of mixed forests, spruce forests. This poisonous plant - it can cause blindness. Therefore, the people gave him another name - the chicken. It not only early blooms, but also passes its development cycle with lightning speed. The oak forest withers before the shadow appears in the forest, gives the seeds before the trees are covered with leaves. Often plants die in winter from severe frost - in fact their roots are only slightly fixed in the upper layer of the soil. Anemone (a photo of a flower often made against a background of perfectly bare earth) is well adapted to peat soils, to their increased acidity. Flowers are pollinated by ants, as well as by bees and other insects.

Anemones in your garden

This is one of the brightest and early-flowering perennials. Successful cultivation of these flowers is hampered by their delicate, vulnerable roots, which require special attention of the gardener, as well as lighting requirements. If the soil in your garden is rich in alkali and humus - there is a high probability that the anemones will feel good in it. On a good land this flower will be more lush and taller than on lean. In nature, more often there is a string of oak groves with flowers of the color of snow. But gardeners have long brought out various decorative forms - pink, light purple, tender blue. They can grow on lawns, among ornamental bushes and fruit trees. There are also autumn anemones - these hybrids with a much stronger root system. They bloom in late summer and early autumn and are usually much higher than spring. Flowers can be both simple, and double white, pink and purple shades. Autumn anemones look great on the brochures and flower beds, well combined with asters. By the way, the latter do not suffer at all from the fact that the windswepts are actively expanding in breadth.

Anemones and their properties are dangerous and useful

Many plants of the family Lyutikov are simultaneously poisonous and medicinal. The poison of anemone is not fatal - it causes irritation of the skin, mucous membranes, short-term blindness. It is used in homeopathy and folk medicine. Animals eat an oak tree without harm to themselves. Milk cows, in whose food anemones were encountered, can acquire a slight pinkish hue.
