History

In 1841 Baratynsky - because of the inconvenience and small size of the old house - begins to build new housing. After a while, on the site of the usual landowner's estate, there appears something that can be called one of the best literary nests of the 19th century. In this work of architectural art was a picture of the way of life of representatives of the nobility. In 1844 Baratynsky went to Italy. From this sunny country, he regularly sends relatives optimistic and cheerful news. Unexpected for all was his sudden death. Deserted Muranovo. Manor six years later passes to a new heir - Nikolai Vasilievich Putyata. This creative person took care of what was left of relatives and kept all the property of the estate.

Cultural significance

This new owner Muranovo founded here a kind of literary salon. The people gathered here conducted free conversations, read books and articles. The poet himself, who repeatedly visited Muranovo, died in Tsarskoe Selo at the end of the 19th century. And the legacy of the "Muranovsky" kind was replenished with archives, books and things belonging to this remarkable person.

Manor of Tyutchev Muranovo is in its original form today. Until now, the decoration of the rooms of Baratynsky and Tyutchev has come. Turgenev is considered the pioneer of the significance of this poet's work. And Tolstoy wrote that he was fascinated by the greatness of his talent.
