Monthly allowance for childcare in Russia

Any person living in the country has the right to receive certain social guarantees and assistance from the state. The Russian Federation undertakes obligations to provide such social guarantees, which are prescribed in the Constitution and in various legislative acts.

Behind the dry formulations, the real needs of citizens, especially unprotected and poorly protected strata of the population, are hidden. The most popular and actively discussed is the monthly allowance for childcare.

Young parents, and especially single mothers, need such help as another thread. When the lives and destinies of people are at stake, one must carefully consider all aspects of this problem. That is why the public is concerned about this issue.

Social guarantees

In Russia, all citizens of the country, as well as foreigners who live here permanently, can count on a guaranteed monthly childcare allowance. All constituent entities of the Russian Federation establish their laws and adopt normative acts regulating the process of awarding payments. In addition, in each region, the size of the allowance will be different.

The sizes of grants

At the moment, several factors affecting the amount of payments are taken into account. Monthly allowance for the care of a child under the age of 1.5 years is determined as follows:

  • For employed citizens: for the first child is 2,326 rubles, for the second child - 4652 rubles. The maximum size in both cases is 14,625 rubles.
  • For non-working and privileged categories of citizens, the minimum threshold is also set at 2326 and 4652 rubles for the first and second child, respectively. However, the chances that they will be assigned the full size of the allowance are greater.

The order of registration

The monthly allowance for the care of a child is made by only one of the parents, or the one who directly takes care of his upbringing and maintenance - the guardian, the guardian or the adopter. For each born, you need to draw up papers separately.

In order to receive a monthly allowance for childcare, it is necessary to fill out an application for work or study for employed and employed citizens or to social protection agencies at their place of residence.

List of required documents

A monthly child benefit is awarded after the following documents are submitted:

  • Application for payment of benefits.
  • Application for granting maternity leave (for working citizens);
  • Certificate of birth of a child (for each, if there are several);
  • A workbook where there is a clause about dismissal during pregnancy (for employed citizens);
  • Information on wages (on the basis of this the size of the benefit will be formed);
  • A reference indicating the place of permanent employment of the second parent, if any.
  • A certificate stating that the parent does not receive unemployment benefits.

The list of documents should be specified in the relevant bodies, as it varies depending on the specific situation. In addition, each region has its own local laws and regulations.

A childcare allowance of up to a year and a half is intended to help with the care of the child, since during this period the parent does not work, hence, incomes are noticeably reduced. After one and a half years the amount of the benefit is cut. If there are two or more children, the amount of payments is calculated based on the average earnings, and is added together. But it can not exceed the immediate size of this earnings.

This question has a lot of nuances, which have to pay attention both in the process of registration, and in the process of directly receiving all payments. Parents should consider these aspects if they want to receive social assistance in full.
