"Leningrad Electromechanical Plant" Surely Looking Into the Future

The economic upheavals of the 1990s led to the cessation of production at many of the largest enterprises that used to be the pride of the whole country. However, one of the leading enterprises working in the field of instrument-making, the Leningrad Electromechanical Plant, managed to overcome the decline of the times of the beginning of perestroika and completely restored the production of electricity meters.

In an effort to work ahead of the curve, taking into account the current trends in the development of the market towards the introduction of automated metering systems at all consumption levels up to each individual customer, LEMZ CJSC successfully introduced a new technological chain of production sites to produce the entire range of electricity meters. The volumes of production and sale of electric energy meters constantly grow in accordance with the orders received. Thanks to the mobilization of experienced and qualified personnel from among the staff and the short-term stability of the production process, the plant fully meets the needs of customers. Traditionally, the plant attaches great importance to the quality and reliability of its products.

To date, the full range of produced electricity meters is in full swing. In particular, a new single-phase multi-tariff meter EC 2726 with RS-485 communication interface is being prepared for production, meeting the requirements of IDGCs according to its performance characteristics. Also, a three-phase multi-tariff meter CE 2727 U in the new building is being prepared for serial production.

In addition to standard services (plastic injection molding, repair of meters), the plant offers a number of new services to customers (reprogramming all types of meters both directly at the factory and with the departure of specialists to customers for the operation site, receiving orders from third-party organizations for manufacturing and installation Printed circuit boards, orders for electrical installation work are also performed, and various tests are carried out in the factory testing laboratory on orders from outside).

In the summer of 2011, a complete restructuring of production was carried out and its legal form was changed - a closed joint-stock company "Leningrad Electromechanical Plant" was established. As a result, the accredited factory testing laboratory, the main production areas of electronic production, all basic equipment for the production of electronic meters and all the main production personnel were transferred to the new enterprise of CJSC LEMZ. The new enterprise constantly increases production volumes and expands the range of produced electricity meters.

At the moment, there is a rapid expansion of the sales markets for electric meters of our Leningrad production. There is a fruitful work with energy sales companies on the implementation of meters (SOLO, EU 2726, CE 2726, TRIO U, CEC 2727 U), with transport companies (RZD) regarding the sale of direct current meters SKVT F-610, used in Electric trains and electric locomotives and in city electric transport

Among the nearest plans of ZAO LEMZ is the opening of stores for the sale of plant meters and representative offices in various regions of the country.
