Lecho without vinegar: two cooking recipes

Not all people like hot snacks with sour taste. To prepare lecho without vinegar, you can use one of the following recipes. We offer two options.

Recipe lecho without vinegar

For this preparation you will need the following products :

  • Sweet pepper (preferably multi-colored) - 5 kg;
  • Red tomatoes - 2.5 kg;
  • Carrots ripe - 1 kg;
  • Onion - 1 kg;
  • Salt, common salt - 2 tbsp. L .;
  • Granulated sugar - 9 tbsp. L .;
  • Vegetable oil (sunflower) - 300 ml.

Step by step cooking technology lecho without vinegar

  1. Brush the onion. Then grind it not too large. With carrots peel with a knife or vegetable peeler. Rub the vegetable on a large grater.
  2. In vegetable oil, fry the onion, add the carrots and put the ingredients down until soft.
  3. During the frying of vegetables, prepare the tomatoes. They should be peeled off. To do this, make cross-shaped incisions at the top of the fruit and dip them into boiling water for 30 seconds. This will make it easy to peel tomatoes from the skin. After that, tomatoes grind on a meat grinder or use a food processor or a blender.
  4. Tomato puree pour into fried vegetables. Tomite for 20 minutes over medium heat.
  5. Prepare the Bulgarian pepper. Fruits need to be washed, remove the stem and seeds, while cutting the pepper into two equal parts (if desired, you can make smaller pieces).
  6. Pound the chopped pepper in a saucepan, top with a mass of vegetables and tomato puree. Salt and pepper the dish to taste. You can put the specified amount of salt and sugar or change the proportions in accordance with their culinary preferences. Fans of the acute can add red hot pepper and garlic.
  7. Simmer the vegetables on fire for half an hour. Readiness is determined by the softness of pepper. While lecho without vinegar is being cooked, prepare the containers, in which the snack will be packed. Banks (it is better to use a small amount, for example, 800 grams or 1 liter) to wash and sterilize over the steam. Boil the lids. In the cooled containers, place the hot cure and clog the prepared lids.
  8. Pack a snack with a bottom to cool down. Cover with a blanket. After the banks have completely cooled down, put them away for storage in a dark cool place. Lecho without vinegar is served as an independent dish. Also it can be added to soups and vegetable dishes. Bon Appetit!

Lecho for the winter without vinegar

For cooking, you will need the ingredients :

  • About 3 kg of fresh ripe tomatoes;
  • Fresh garlic head;
  • A glass (about 200 g) of sugar;
  • A large spoonful of salt.

Technology of preparation

Wash and cut tomatoes into pieces of any shape. At pepper remove a peduncle and seeds, cut a vegetable on thin polosochki. Garlic can be cut into 2-3 parts or simply chopped with a knife. Ingredients put in a pan for cooking, mix, put on medium heat. Cook for 10 minutes after boiling the mass. Then put the sugar and salt. Simmer the vegetables for about half an hour.
