Learn on the right: where and when to go to school? How long does it take to get a driver's license?

Every day more and more cars are on our roads. There is a growing number of citizens who want to learn from the right to subsequently join the ranks of motorists. However, there is also the opinion that there is a reason to get a driving license, even if the purchase of a car in the near future is not planned. As they say, that was.

It is quite natural that future drivers have questions about the procedure for obtaining rights. The main ones, for example, for how many years you can study the rights, where to study, what the cost of training will be discussed in this article.

Where to study for the rights?

It would seem that the question is elementary, and the answer to it is unambiguous - in a driving school. However, it does not occur by chance. After all, until recently, self-education was available. Now for exams in the traffic police only citizens who have documentary confirmation of the training in a specialized educational institution are allowed. But this is not the only answer to the question. For example, young people of draft age have the opportunity to learn from the military commissariat.

How to get the rights through the military registration and enlistment office

It is no exaggeration to say that all young men would like to acquire a driving license as early as possible. At the same time, not everyone can afford to pay for their studies in a driving school. For these guys, it is possible to learn from the military commissariat on the basis of rights. This way of obtaining rights has its own peculiarities, of course.

  • Firstly, only conscripts are trained at the state expense, and do not enjoy a delay in drafting.
  • Secondly, to study the rights of the military commissariat sends only those recruits who need to get a certain WUS (military registration specialty).
  • Third, in order to receive a referral for study, it will be necessary to undergo compulsory medical examination, that is, only appropriately qualified recruits can learn to drive from the military registration and enlistment office.
  • Fourthly, you can get only category "C" in this way, in rare cases - "VS", and not the most popular "B" category.

It should also be borne in mind that you can take the exam in the traffic police only after reaching the age of 18 years. The training will take from three to six months. And, of course, there can be no question of "slashing" from service in the army after obtaining rights.

What is necessary to receive a referral from the military registration and enlistment office

  1. At the age of 16 the young man must register with the local military registration and enlistment office and receive a certificate of registration.
  2. In a year, that is, after the young man turns 17 years old, he writes a statement addressed to the military committee about the desire to receive a direction for training in a driving school.
  3. After this, it will be necessary to pass a medical commission, since in the case of receiving a delay for health reasons, it will be impossible to receive a referral.
  4. If a young man is recognized as fit, he is given a direction for a driving school. The young man will be most likely to attend school at a subordinate school (ROSTO, DOSAAF).

It should be noted that the undoubted advantage of this method of obtaining rights is price. On average, the draftee will have to pay about 5 thousand rubles, which is several times lower than the cost of training in "civil" driving schools.

Minimum age for driving in a driving school

One of the most common questions: how many years can you learn from the law? The answer to this question can be obtained in the SDA, that is, in the rules of the road. Paragraph of the Rules 21.4. Says: "The trainee must be at least 16 years old on the car, and not less than 14 years on the motorcycle".

At the same time, you need to understand that you can take the exam and get a driving license only after reaching the age of majority, that is, 18 years. In this regard, in some driving schools, citizens are accepted for training not earlier than two months before the execution of eighteen years.

Terms of training

As a rule, one must study for two and a half to three months (but not less than two months). During this time, students undergo theoretical and practical training, and at the end of the course they take compulsory exams.

In 2014, new rules and training programs for drivers of the "B" category come into force, which will significantly increase both the period and the cost of training. Innovations were the result of a sharp increase in traffic accidents, caused by drivers.

Changes in training programs

The training course in driving schools will be expanded due to such disciplines as psychophysiology, the influence of vehicles on the environment, the physics of the car. Also, students will have to learn the basics of passenger and freight traffic, effective communication, ethical standards for motorists and the like.

Thus, the theoretical course is divided into three "subcategories":

  • Actually SDA, legislation in the field of traffic, the basics of vehicle management, the rules of first aid, the basics of psychophysiology;
  • Rules for the organization and implementation of passenger transportation;
  • The device and maintenance of the vehicle, driving.

New in the rules of passing exams

In a new way, you will not only have to learn the driving license, but also take exams to obtain them.

The passing of exams will be held in stages. First, students go through the "theory" and driving on the circuit, take the exam in the traffic police and return to the desk again. Now they have to go to the city, that is, to get practical skills of driving in real conditions. After rolling out a certain number of hours, the student will be able to pass the driving test. In addition, for examinations at the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate now will have to go not as part of their group, but registering on their own, which can significantly delay the coveted day of obtaining rights. The number of re-entries is not limited, but if the citizen fails to "surrender" three times in a row, the next re-examination will have to endure a monthly interval.

Cost of driving in a driving school

And finally, it's time to answer the main question - how much does it cost to study for the rights? Of course, the cost of training in driving schools varies depending on several factors: the region, technical equipment, fleet, the availability of its own autodrome, teaching staff and other things. Nevertheless, the average for the country, the cost of training is 15-25 thousand rubles. This amount does not include the cost of medical examination and state duty for issuing a driving license. Some schools have to pay extra for teaching materials. Also it is necessary to have a certain amount in case you need an additional roll.

According to experts, the entry into force of innovations can increase the cost of training at times. Some even talk about the amount of one hundred thousand rubles. Of course, this figure is a kind of "ceiling", provided that you are trained in the most modern, best-equipped school with professionals of the highest class in the role of teachers. A more realistic increase is projected in the range of 20-60 thousand rubles.

Many driving schools try to contain the real growth in the cost of education and offer all sorts of special offers and promotions, so those wishing to obtain the right should definitely take advantage of this.
