"Lakhta Center" in St. Petersburg - a new symbol of the city

Lakhta Center in St. Petersburg is an innovative project, within which a modern business cluster is being created in the Primorsky region. As a platform for business, in parallel, it will perform public functions. Skyscraper height of 462 m will be the new symbol of the "Northern Palmyra". The area of the land plot is 170000 m ² . The volume of construction of buildings is 400,000 m ² .

Concept

"Lakhta Center" in St. Petersburg should become a model of the optimal balance between public space and office space. The concept provides for erection:

Infrastructure

In parallel with the construction of the skyscraper, the problems of transport communication in the north-west of the city are being solved. "Lakhta Center" in St. Petersburg is located near the high-speed Western Diameter and the Ring Road. This will allow you to quickly get to both Pulkovo Airport and the main railway stations.

In addition, along the territory of the Primorsky region there is a route connecting Peter and Finland. Also "Lakhta Center" will serve the development of sea and river city transport.

Ecology

The new business district is designed to harmonize the neighborhood of man and nature. Ecological compatibility of the complex will be achieved due to the green spaces on the territory, the creation of "green" atriums inside the buildings.

The Lakhta Center project in St. Petersburg has been confirmed by the international environmental standard Leed Gold. Unloading motor roads in the area and developing environmentally friendly modes of transport (express rail, passenger river transport) will lead to a significant reduction in emissions and improvement of the environmental situation.

Energy saving

The largest initiator of the project was the Gazprom group. Being the energy leader of the country, the company strives to realize the most daring energy-saving technologies. The platform for innovation will be Lakhta Center.

The course of construction of a public-business complex involves the creation of a so-called energy-efficient district. It is an urban environment in which the idea of saving electricity and heat is traced at every stage: from the design of buildings to the installation of special equipment and the laying of utilities.

Thanks to the "green construction" technologies, the complex will consume significantly less energy. Provision is made for the installation of a single dispatching system (situational center) for the state of structures and all engineering systems.

It is expected that energy savings will be about 40% due to:

The architectural concept of the project reflects the historical traditions of St. Petersburg and innovative ideas. In the predominantly horizontal landscape, the local dominant is included, and the adjacent buildings reflect the connection with the water space - in the form of buildings, the dynamics of water, the glitter of ice crystals, the flow of energy are embodied.

The complex is built directly on the coast of the Gulf of Finland. Accordingly, it will become part of the St. Petersburg maritime facade of the 21st century, which also form a new passenger port, a stadium on Krestovsky Island and pylons of cable-stayed bridges of the Western High-Speed Diameter.

Lakhta Center: the course of construction

Skeleton skyscraper and neighboring buildings completed more than half. In finished form, the building will become the largest among business centers in Europe - with a height of 462 m and a total area of 400,000 m ² . The new public and business district will contribute to raising the status of St. Petersburg as a cultural capital and will become an additional center for attracting tourists.

In the "Lakhta Center" will be created:

The construction of the main building is expected to be completed in 2018.
