Knitted mittens: two ways of making knitting needles

To tie warm mittens on stocking knitting needles can be literally in one evening, and to be worn and warm your hands they will be several years. If you do not yet have a lot of knitting experience, let it be two evenings - one for each mitt, as knitted mittens made by own hands are worth the time!

Prepare for work 5 stocking knitting needles No. 2-3 and 100 g of gray yarn. No gray? Fine, let there be any color or a few glomeruli of different shades, but of the same composition and thickness. We consider 2 ways of knitting - single-colored gloves with a pattern and striped from the remains of different yarns. Distinguish models will be a way to finger, the rest of the work is done in a similar way.

Knitting mittens patterned "paws"

The first row - 1 facial, 3 loops along the front, without removing from the knitting needles, the same 3 loop eyelets, repeat to the end of the row.

The second row - all the loops are purl.

The third row - 3 facial, (3 loops together face, nakid, again 3 facial, 1 facial), repeat to the end of the series.

We put 56 loops on knitting needles and knit an elastic 1x1 with a height of 10 cm. Then we go to knitting a pattern according to the pattern, we sew 5 cm in this way. To form a finger, we take 16 loops on a pin or strong thread, distribute the remaining loops to 4 spokes and knit the main pattern Still about 8 cm. To close the toe of the mitten accurately, we sew 4 loops of the report together opposite the thumb, then 16 loops along the pattern and again 4 loops together from the outside of the palm. Close the loops in each second row until the last loop on the spokes remains, which is tightened with a thread, pull the thread inside out and fix it with a few stitches.

For pinpointing we distribute Loops for 4 knitting needles and knit with facial 5 cm, then close them, gradually tying together 2 loops until the last loop is left on the spoke. We close it and fix it, as on the toe of the gloves.

We knit the left mitten in the same way as the right one, then straighten the products and lightly weave through the cotton cloth. Our knitted mittens are ready.

Often we still have small tangles of new threads, which are not enough for a large product. This yarn can be used on knitted mittens in a strip, the main thing is to immediately calculate the threads for two identical mittens according to the drawing. Usually, I just rewind half the tangle of the same color into a small new tangle until they match the size.

Striped knitted mittens

We type on the knitting needles 51 and knit an elastic band 2x1 with a height of 10 cm. Then add 1 more loop and go to knitting with the front strips, alternating the color of the strips to your liking. 5 cm from the beginning of the facial knitting we make a hole for the thumb. By thread of contrasting color we knit 10 loops, we return them to the working knitting needle and again we tie the main thread from the tangle. We continue to work for about 8 cm, then form a mitten of mittens, tying together 2 loops through every 11. When the toe is closed, stretch the cropped thread inside out and fix it with a few stitches.

Using a needle, pull out the contrasting thread and thread the spokes into the received loops, distribute them evenly and knit the finger, as described in the previous case. Similarly, we knit the second mitten, after which the products are stripped.

Crochet crocheted mittens can be obtained by the same schemes, but it must be remembered that they will turn out to be less elastic. Beautiful gloves made from yarn of two colors are obtained by using a Tunisian hook and knitting with broaches from the previous row. Give scope to your imagination, and the result will not disappoint you!
